Elijah Blackman is in his second season at Kansas State in 2024 as an assistant strength and conditioning coach.
 
Blackman came to K-State from Colorado State where he was an assistant strength and conditioning coach during the 2019, 2020 and 2022 seasons. Prior to CSU, Blackman worked with current K-State Director of Strength and Conditioning Trumain Carroll as a graduate assistant at Arkansas. While in Fayetteville, Blackman worked with the women’s basketball, baseball, softball, women’s soccer, men’s and women’s tennis and track & field programs. He was also a two-year intern at South Carolina working with multiple programs.
 
A former student-athlete himself, Blackman was a member of the Saint Leo University basketball team from 2013 to 2017, while he earned his start in the field with an apprenticeship during his final year of college. He obtained his undergraduate degree in sport business from Saint Leo in December 2017, and he is in pursuit of completing his master’s degree.
