1. Everyone has a Shot
• K-State and Troy combined to attempt 155 shots on Nov. 18. The 155 combined attempts were the most in an NCAA Division I game this season. The teams attempted 3.9 shots/minute. The last time K-State played a game with a combined 155 or more shots attempted was March 23, 2025, at Kentucky (156 shots) in the second round of the 2025 NCAA Tournament. 
2. Cat Baskets
• The Wildcats have made 30 or more field goals in 3 of its first 6 games this season. A season ago, K-State made 30 or more field goals in 5 of its first 6 games.
3. Heal Reaches Milestone
• Senior guard Tess Heal surpassed the 1,500-point mark in her collegiate career with her 15 points against Texas A&M on Nov. 16. She is the second player to transfer to K-State and surpass the 1,500-point mark in the college career (Gabby Gregory).
4. Speiser Seeing Double
• Freshman Jordan Speiser collected her first two career double-doubles during the four-game homestand. Speiser is tied for the Big 12 lead in double-doubles and leads all Big 12 freshmen in double-doubles.
5. Freshmen Trio Reach Double Figures
• The freshman trio of Brandie Harrod, Gina Garcia and Jordan Speiser each scored 12 points against Texas A&M on Nov. 16. This was the first time three K-State freshmen scored 12 or more points in the same game since Feb. 5, 2022, against Texas Tech (Serena Sundell, Brylee Glenn and Jaelyn Glenn).

• Green Bay (4-1) enters Saturday's matchup following a 76-72 loss at Wisconsin on Nov. 16. The defeat ended a four-game winning streak for Green Bay. 
• The Phoenix were voted as the favorites in the 2025-26 Under Armour Horizon League Preseason Poll.
• Green Bay is guided on the sideline by second-year head coach Kayla Karius. The 2011 graduate of Green Bay owns a career record of 70-36 (.660) including a 33-7 (.825) record at her alma mater. She led Green Bay to the Horizon League crown and an appearance in the 2025 NCAA Tournament.

• The Wildcats had a season-high five players reach double figures against Omaha on Nov. 3.
• K-State saw the freshmen trio of Brandie Harrod, Gina Garcia and Jordan Speiser each tally 12 points against Texas A&M on Nov. 16. This was the first time three K-State freshmen scored 12 or more points in the same game since Feb. 5, 2022, against Texas Tech (Serena Sundell, Brylee Glenn and Jaelyn Glenn). 

K-State Attacking the Paint
• K-State has continued to attack the lane in the 2025-26 season.
• The Wildcats opened the season with 48 points in the paint against Omaha, which were 80.0 percent of its points from inside the arc. K-State shot 73.2 percent (30-of-41) on two-point field goal attempts. The 48 points in the paint were the most since scoring 54 against New Mexico State on Dec. 18, 2024.
• This season, K-State has registered 212 points in the paint which is 46.2 percent of its overall point total. The Wildcats have scored 30 or more points in the paint thrice and have held the edge in the lane four times.
• In the 2024-25 season, the Wildcats registered 30 or more points in the lane in 28 games including a season-high 56 points in the paint against Milwaukee on Nov. 20 and DePaul on Nov. 27. The 56 points were the most since scoring 58 against McNeese State on Dec. 6, 2023.
• K-State averaged 37.6 points per game (1,352 points) in the paint with 47.6 percent of its point total from inside the lane and outscored its foes in the lane in 26 games. The 1,352 points in the paint were the most scored in the lane under head coach Jeff Mittie. This was the fourth consecutive season K-State scored 1,000 or more points in the paint. K-State has scored 1,000 or more points in the paint in five of Mittie's 11 seasons.

Bench Boost
• K-State has received an offensive boost from its second unit.
• The Wildcats opened the season with 47 points from its bench against Omaha. The 47 points from the bench were the most since K-State scored 47 against McNeese State on Dec. 6, 2023.
• K-State is averaging 32.5 points per game from its bench, which ranks third in the Big 12. The Wildcats have had the edge in bench points in five games this season.
• K-State has scored 20 or more bench points in six games.
• In the 2024-25 season, the Wildcats averaged 22.6 points per game (813 points) from the bench and ranked second in the Big 12 and 50th in the nation for bench points per game. K-State had the upperhand in bench points in 24 games last season (20-4).
• K-State's 813 bench points were the second time in the Jeff Mittie era in which the bench recorded 700 or more points in a season and the top mark under Mittie for a season.
