Mittie Finalizes Coaching and Support Staffs for 2026-27 Season

MANHATTAN, Kan. – K-State women's basketball head coach Jeff Mittie has finalized his coaching and support staffs for the 2026-27 season.
Mittie has promoted Katie Falco from recruiting coordinator to chief of staff, elevated Madison Pahls from director of video operations and analytics to assistant coach. He has also added Dylan Geissert as assistant coach/recruiting coordinator, Ross Metheny as the program's general manager and brought on Jared Wilson as the director of video operations and analytics.
Falco is in her fourth season on Mittie's staff, serving the program as the recruiting coordinator beginning in the 2023-24 season.
Pahls is in her third season on Mittie's staff, serving the program as the director of basketball administration in 2024-25 and moved into the program's director of video operations and analytics in 2025-26.
Geissert comes to Manhattan to serve as an assistant coach, following a seven season stint at North Dakota State where he ascended to the role of associate head coach. He helped the Bison to three straight WNIT appearances (2023-25) and the program's first appearance in the WBIT (2026).
During the 2026 season, Geissert aided the program to a 29-5 overall record and the program's first Summit League regular season crown. The 29 wins were the most for North Dakota State in its NCAA Division I era and the most since 1995-96.
Prior to his time in Fargo, Geissert served as a graduate student manager at Kansas from 2017-19 with head coach Brandon Schneider. He earned a bachelor's degree in business administration from Emporia State in 2016 and a master's in digital content strategy from Kansas in 2018.
Metheny will serve the program in the general manager role and serves as the direct liaison with K-State's NIL staff and ensuring that each student-athlete has the ability to grow their brand to the fullest.
Metheny is a 2016 K-State alum with a graduate certificate in academic advising. While earning his graduate certificate, Metheny was a graduate assistant coach under head coach Bill Snyder during the 2015 and 2016 seasons working primarily with the defensive coaching staff.
Following his departure from K-State in the summer of 2017, Metheny was named an assistant coach/recruiting coordinator at Virginia Military Institute in Lexington, Virginia, where he worked with the safeties and defensive backs.
Prior to his time on Coach Snyder's staff, Metheny was a quarterback at Virginia and South Alabama. While at South Alabama, Metheny earned 2013 All-Sun Belt Conference (SBC) Second Team honors, named to the 2013-14 SBC All-Leadership Team, team captain for the Jaguars, and collected 2013 Male Athlete of the Year honors from South Alabama.
Metheny graduated from Virginia in 2012 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology and then earned his Master's of Education degree in Educational Leadership from South Alabama in 2014.
Wilson will be in his first season in the director of video operations and analytics at K-State. His responsibilities with the Wildcats include: film exchange with opponents, editing film clips for the coaching staff and players, assisting the coaching staff in collecting and editing film of recruits, arranging Zoom sessions with recruits, summer camp management and technology liaison.
Prior to joining the K-State women's basketball staff, Wilson was an assistant coach for two seasons (2024-26) at Fordham.
Wilson joined the Rams after a two-year stint with USC women's basketball team. He served as a head team manager and practice player, while also taking on the role of interim/assistant video coordinator for the 2023-24 season.
Wilson holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science degree from USC in 2024.
K-State returns seven letterwinners for the 2026-27 season, which accounted for 74 percent of the assists, 55 percent of the points and 52 percent of the rebounds.
