The Sophomore claimed the first singles win in the team's 5-2 win against Wichita State, defeating Kurahashi 2-6, 6-3, 6-2 in the no. 1 spot by coming back after losing the first set. Suarez then earned her third straight win in the no. 1 spot, defeating Havlickova 6-3, 6-2, in the Wildcats' sweep over South Dakota.
