Kansas State Head Coach Deb Patterson on the game:
"In this game, we had a lot of great looks and we had alot of trouble dropping them down I thought both insideand outside. The thing we talked to our team about wasthat we are going to have games and nights like that, and the key thing is that you are mature and youcontinue to work through it, you continue to take thoseshots, you continue to work for those catches andeventually you are going to stay competitive in the ballgame. So I agree, I think we missed shots tonight thatwould usually fall for us and I was real proud of our ballclub for not going in the tank because of that.Individually, it is very easy for young players whenthings aren,t going just their way to lose focus, and Ithought we did a nice job of preventing that."
Kansas State Forward Kendra Wecker on her record-tying 20 rebounds:
"That was just something were I had some easy shotsthat weren't falling at the beginning of the game, andwhen things aren't going well offensively you have towork hard and make things happen in areas on thecourt. I guess I was just aggressive tonight going afterthe ball."
Kansas State Forward Nicole Ohlde on the tournament:
"I think it was a really good experience because like lastnight everybody was getting in and everybody getting alot of playing time and playing experience. That reallyhelps out a lot. We saw a man defense last night and azone defense tonight. Just working through all the looksthat they gave us will help better prepare us forupcoming games."
