No. 7 Kansas State Defeats Weber State, 60-36

MANHATTAN, Kan. (AP) - Kendra Wecker had 18 points and seven rebounds as No.7 Kansas State beat Weber State 60-36 on Saturday for its fifth straightCommerce Bank Classic championship.
Laurie Koehn added 13 points and Nicole Ohlde had 10 to help Kansas State(8-1) to its seventh straight home victory of the season. Julie Gjertsen ledWeber State (2-3) with 20 points, and Crystal Howe had 10 rebounds.
Weber State took an 11-10 lead, but Koehn hit two straight 3-pointers forKansas State to spark a 22-1 run that gave the Wildcats a 32-12 lead athalftime. Kansas State held Weber State without a field goal for the final 10minutes of the first half.
Kansas State outscored Weber State 28-24 in the second half.
