Wildcats Invite Fans to Watch Party/Pep Rally on Sunday

Manhattan, Kan. - Fans who this season more than doubled the previous attendance record for women's basketball at Kansas State are invited to join the Wildcats at Bramlage Coliseum on Sunday, March 10 as they watch the NCAA Tournament Selection Show.
The watch party and pep rally is free to the public, with doors opening at 3 p.m.Players and coaches will be available to sign autographs between 3:00 and 3:30, when everyone will move inside the arena to prepare to watch the selection show and the announcement of the brackets. The K-State Pep Band, spirit groups and Willie the Wildcat will also be on hand, with special giveaways available to some of those in attendance.
K-State is looking for its first NCAA Tournament berth since 1997 and will learn Sunday whether it will be a host site for the first and second rounds for this year's tournament. The last time the Wildcats hosted an NCAA game was in 1983.
Blank brackets will be available for fans who want to fill in the pairings as they are announced on the show, which will be aired by ESPN beginning at 4 p.m. Central Time.Fans should park on the West side of the arena, with only the West-side gates being open that day.
Should Kansas State be selected as a host site for the first two rounds, tickets will go on sale at the Bramlage Coliseum Ticket Office at the end of the rally. This will be the first chance for fans to purchase tickets for the NCAA Tournament.
If Kansas State is not a host site, the ticket office would be open to take orders for NCAA tickets.

Kansas State, 23-6 overall, plays Texas or Kansas in a quarterfinal round of the Big 12 Conference Tournament in Kansas City on Wednesday at 2:30 p.m.
