EDMONTON, Alberta - Kansas State junior Jared MacLeod finished second in the men's 110-meter hurdles last weekend at the Canadian National Track and Field Championships.
MacLeod ran 13.75 seconds in the final, finishing behind only Charles Allen, who won the event in 13.52. MacLeod's mark would have equalled his school record set at this year's Big 12 Championships, however it was barely wind-aided at 2.1 meters per second.
MacLeod had qualified with the third-fastest time in prelims, running 13.77. He will return to K-State for his senior season in the fall.
