Three Football Class Reunions Set for 2003 Season

MANHATTAN, Kan. - The Kansas State football program will celebrate its past with three reunions during the 2003 season, Department of Athletics officials announced Friday.
Slated for recognition during the "Year of Reunions" are teams from the 1982, 1953 and 1993 seasons. Included in the 1993 team's day of acknowledgment will be Kansas State's senior classes of 1989, '90, '91 and '92, whose contributions to the Wildcat football program stand as the cornerstone of K-State's current success.
"This is truly an exciting time for K-State Athletics," said Sheahon Zenger, associate athletics director for development. "Last year we had the opportunity to initiate the football Ring of Honor in KSU Stadium and the men's basketball All-Century Team. Each team will be honored at the end of the first quarter with a team introduction. The reunion weekends will also consist of a special celebration dinner for each team and a tailgate session in
Individual tickets for each game are available through the Kansas State Athletics Ticket Office in Bramlage Coliseum or by calling 1-800-221-CATS. Season tickets for all eight home games at KSU Stadium also remain available starting at $285 for reserved seating or $185 for general admission seating in the End Zone Fun Zone in the north end zone.
