Twenty-Six Wildcats Make 2003 NFL Rosters

MANHATTAN, Kan -- National Football League training camps are closed, and as teams head into the opening weekend of action, 26 former Kansas State players have earned spots on NFL rosters, according to figures available on NFL.com.
All four Wildcats taken in the 2003 NFL draft earned roster spots, including first-round selection Terence Newman with the Dallas Cowboys.
Other 2002 Wildcats winning spots included Terry Pierce with the Denver Broncos, Melvin Williams with the New Orleans Saints and Taco Wallace, who earned a spot on the practice squad with the Seattle Seahawks. Tank Reese, who signed as a free agent, landed a spot on the Kansas City Chiefs' roster.
