ST. LOUIS, Mo. (AP) -- Josh Fisher scored three points with 8 seconds to play to lift Saint Louis to a 65-64 victory over Kansas State on Saturday.
Reggie Bryant, who led Saint Louis with 25 points, including seven 3-pointers to tie a school record, stole a pass with 2 seconds left, preventing the Wildcats from scoring in the final moments of the game.
Saint Louis had a school-record 15 3-pointers as Kansas State stayed in a 2-3 zone throughout the game. The Billikens (7-4) finished shot 42 percent (15-of-36) from 3-point range and just 37.5 percent (21-of-56) overall.
It was Saint Louis' third straight win, while the Wildcats, who outrebounded Saint Louis 35-27, dropped their second consecutive game overall and their 11th straight road game. Kansas State (7-3) has lost 22 of its last 23 road games.
The score was tied at 31 at halftime, and there were five ties and six lead changes in the second half.
Kansas State took a 55-54 lead with 5:28 to play on a lay-up by Frank Richards, who picked off a pass by Fisher and drove the court. The Wildcats built that advantage to five points at 62-57 with 2:29 to play.
Cartier Martin, who led Kansas State with 19 points, scored with 1:20 left, giving the Wildcats a 64-59 lead. Martin was the only Wildcat in double figures.
Chris Sloan nailed a 3-pointer for Saint Louis with 1:06 left, cutting the lead to 64-62.
Fisher, who ended with 17 points, scored the game-winning points on a lay-up and a free-throw after Richards missed a free-throw with 27 seconds left.
Saint Louis improved to 9-8 in the series and 6-4 at home. Kansas State had won the last four games between the two schools.
