Men's Golf Inks Four For 2006-07 Season

“These guys are a great fit for our program,” Norris said. “They came in and were really impressed with the facilities and the opportunity to further their game. All of them have their best golf in front of them. They have a strong work ethic and basic fundamentals of the game, and we will try to supply the rest.”
Ida, currently a senior at
“Joe is a solid player,” Norris said. “He has good fundamentals and definitely has his best golf in front of him. He is very consistent and has a great attitude for the game.”
Geubelle, another
“I watched Ross win the high school championship last season. He started to struggle, but he really collected himself halfway through as he went on to win the tournament,” said Norris.
Larson is one of two out-of-state players to join the recruiting class. Larson, a senior at
“Brian really understands the team concept of golf being on two state champion teams. He is really looking forward to a longer season coming from
Schulte rounds out this year’s recruiting class. As a stand-out golfer at
“Jason is a hard worker who has had great accomplishments to this point,” said Norris. “We both feel like he can improve his game by coming to K-State. He has the kind of commitment to play golf at a high level, and I believe he can really flourish in our program.”
All four players will end their high school careers this coming spring before heading to K-State in the fall of 2006 as true freshmen.
