Sunday Baseball Against Portland Moved to Surprise, Ariz.

Phoenix, Ariz. - Head coach Brad Hill announced late Saturday that Sunday's baseball game between Kansas State and Portland will be played after both teams agreed to move the contest to Surprise, Ariz. First pitch is set for 1 p.m. CT.On Thursday, the Wildcats dropped their season opener, 4-2, to Northwestern as the Big 10 Wildcats scored four runs in the fourth inning to take the win. Kansas State was scheduled to play three more games in Phoenix at the home of the Oakland A's spring training facilities, but steady rain and cold conditions cancelled Friday and Saturday's games, prompting the move of Sunday's game.
