Win over No. 4-ranked Nebraska in 2000 selected as game No. 9 by fans
Jul 01, 2005 | Football
The game, which ended with the turf of Wagner Field covered in snow, all but sewed up Kansas State’s third straight share of the Big 12 North Division title and features a pair of Jonathan Beasley to Quincy Morgan touchdown passes, a Josh Scobey TD run and three field goals by Jamie Rheem on offense.
One of the stoutest defensive efforts ever turned in by the Wildcats and three separate comebacks help K-State forge victory over the highest ranked team it had ever beaten the then No. 4-ranked Huskers.
