Sellers Earns All-American Honor on Day 3

Sellers finished third with a clearance of 7-03.75 to become the first freshman since Kyle Lancaster in 2003 to earn outdoor All-American honors.

Since head coach Cliff Rovelto took the reins of the track program in 1992, K-State has earned eight All-American honors in the high jump by six different student-athletes.
The Wildcats will have two athletes in action on Saturday. Senior Breanna Eveland will look for her second career outdoor All-American honor in the women’s pole vault beginning at 1:45 p.m. (CDT). Senior Christian Smith will compete in the 1,500-meter run at 4:04 p.m. (CDT).
The
CBS Sports will carry Saturday’s action live beginning at 2:30 p.m. (CDT). Smith is scheduled to run during the broadcast from Hornet Stadium.
