Wildcats Wrap Up Fall Slate in Austin

MANHATTAN, Kan. - The K-State women’s golf team will finish its fall schedule as the Wildcats travel to
THE FIELD: The 16 teams competing are Baylor,
Colorado, Idaho, Illinois, Iowa, Iowa State, Kansas State, McNeese State, Michigan, Missouri State, Nebraska, Northwestern, SMU, Texas State and Texas Tech.
STRONG FINISH: The Wildcats will look to have a strong finish to close out their fall schedule. K-State just missed two top-5 finishes this fall. At the Chip-N-Club Invitational, K-State finished 12 strokes out of a top-5 finish, and the Wildcats tied for seventh in the Marilynn Smith/Sunflower Invitational.

LAST TIME OUT: K-State was in decent shape after round one of the Price’s Give’em Five last week, as junior Morgan Moon was tied for fifth and freshman Laura Hildebrandt was only three strokes behind, but the Wildcats were unable to finish strong in rounds two and three. K-State finished the tournament tied for 11th and was led by Moon who carded a 73-77-80230 (+14) and finished tied for 31st. Freshman Paige Osterloo finshed second for K-State shooting a 79-80-77236 (+20) to tie for 52nd.
