
Wildcats Set to Compete at ITA Regional Championship

MANHATTAN, Kan. - The K-State women’s
tennis team will continue its season by playing at the ITA Central Regional
Championship at the Baseline Tennis Center in Minneapolis, Minnesota, October
13-17.
Competing this weekend for the Wildcats will be seniors Iva Bago, Livia Cirnu, Palma Juhasz and Maria Panaite. Also competing for K-State will be junior Carolina Costamagna and sophomores Ana Garcia Navas and Millie Stretton.
“We have improved a lot in singles play as well, and are doing a better job with putting a full high-level match together,” added Steinberg. “I want the team to have fun this week, and enjoy playing at the highest level; especially for our 4 seniors who will get to play their final regional championship.”
After the ITA Regional Championship, the Wildcats will have some time off before they will play in the San Diego State Fall Classic, November 11-13.
