
Thirty-One Wildcats Earn Degrees in Fall Semester

MANHATTAN, Kan. - A total of 31 current or former K-State student-athletes earned their degrees from Kansas State University this fall after completing final exams and participating in the annual commencement exercises.
Highlighting the 31 who graduated this fall were 12 current or former members of the K-State football team, four each from baseball and equestrian, two from men's track and field, rowing, women's golf and women's track and field and one each from men's basketball, men's golf and women's soccer.
Seven of the graduates have earned Academic All-Big 12 honors this fall, while the football team will see a total of 19 players take the field at the 2017 Cactus Bowl with a degree in hand.
The group of graduates was also honored at the department's annual graduation reception inside the West Stadium Center, a function that is in its seventh season.
K-State continues to rank among the league's best in terms of academic success as all programs are currently well above the required NCAA APR standard in addition to ranking among the best in the Big 12 in graduation rates.
