MANHATTAN, Kansas - (24/rv) K-State embarks on its second two-game road trip in the month of February, opening the stretch at West Virginia on Wednesday night at 6 p.m. A win on Wednesday by K-State would equal the total wins from the previous two seasons under head coach Jeff Mittie.
• Wednesday’s game will be broadcast on ROOT Sports Pittsburgh, as Robby Incmikoski (play-by-play) and Meg Bulger (analyst) call the action.
• Playing its first home game since Jan. 28, Kansas State (18-7, 8-5 Big 12) responded by avenging a loss from earlier this season with an 80-68 win over Iowa State in Bramlage on Feb. 11.
• The Wildcats had nine of the 11 players that saw the floor score at least three points with four players in double figures, led by the senior Kindred Wesemann with 17 points and redshirt freshman Lanie Page with 16.
• Wesemann is tied for the team lead in scoring with 14.0 per game. She is 68-of-193 (.352) from beyond the arc and leads the Big 12 in 3-point field goals made. She also leads the team in free throw percentage (.885).
• Page led a K-State bench that registered a season-high 39 points. With her 16 points, Page set career-highs in points, field goals made and attempted (6-of-9) and three-point field goals made and attempted (3-of-5).
• Also in double figures on Saturday were junior Karyla Middlebrook and freshmen Eternati Willock with 11 points each.
• Middlebrook has been productive in league play, averaging 11.1 points and 3.2 assists. She has scored in double figures seven times during Big 12 action.
• In her first season in Manhattan, Willock is averaging 8.4 points and 6.6 rebounds in Big 12 play.

Scoring Up For K-State in 2016-17
• Kansas State’s offensive numbers have continued to improve in Jeff Mittie’s three seasons. K-State is averaging 68.2 points per game with 1,706 points scored.
• K-State’s roster features eight players with 100 or more points scored, which represents 67.0 percent of K-State’s active roster with 100 or more points scored.
• This is the first time since the 2013-14 season (8) that K-State has had eight players with 100 or more points scored and just the second time since at least the 2000-01 season.
• In the 2015-16 season, K-State averaged 64.4 points per game and scored a total of 2,062 points this season.
• The 64.4 points per game marked the highest scoring average by a K-State team since the 2007-08 season (67.5 ppg). It was the first time since the 2012-13 season (2,264 points) that K-State scored 2,000 or more points in a season.
Three is not a Crowd, It’s a Benefit
• Since 2011-12, when three or more players reach double figures in scoring in the same game, K-State is 72-38 (.655).
• K-State has had three or more players reach double figures in the same game 17 times this season (12-5).
• The Wildcats have had a season-high five players reach double figures in a game four times this season (2-2).
Magic Number is 70 Points for Wildcats
• Since the 2001-02 season, K-State is 173-18 (.906) when scoring 70 or more points in a game including a 21-4 record in the Jeff Mittie era. This season, K-State has scored 70 or more points in a game 10 times (9-1). This equals the output from the 2015-16 season.
• Kansas State opened the season with 80 or more points scored in the first two games for the first time since the start of the 2007-08 season.
• K-State registered a season-high 86 points against West Virginia on Jan. 1. The 86 points were the most since K-State scored 87 against Oklahoma on Feb. 9, 2016.
Wesemann Standing Tall Among League’s Top Scorers
• Senior guard Kindred Wesemann stands at a listed height of 5’7”, but her game this season has been much bigger than that.
• Wesemann is averaging a career-best 14.0 points per game and is 38 points away from surpassing her career season-high from a year ago of 388 points.
• Among the league’s top-10 scoring leaders, Wesemann is the shortest player. She is the sixth player standing 5’7” or shorter in program history to register consecutive seasons averaging 10 or more points and the first since Brit Jacobson from 1994-98.
• Wesemann is the eighth player 5’7” or shorter to score 1,000 or more career points for the Wildcats.
• She is the third player at 5’7” or under to score 1,000 or more career points since the introduction of the 3-point line in 1986-87.
Willock Provides Bench Boost
• Eternati Willock has been a shot in the arm for K-State in league play.
• In her 11 Big 12 games, Willock is averaging 8.4 points on a .474 field goal percentage and is pulling in 6.6 rebounds. She ranks 11th in field goal percentage and 12th for rebounds in Big 12-only games.
• At Oklahoma State, Willock tallied her first career double-double with 13 points on 5-of-8 shooting and 3-of-3 from the foul line. She also pulled in a career-high 13 rebounds in 27 minutes off the bench.
• Her rebound total against the Cowgirls was the highest by a K-State freshman since Breanna Lewis pulled in 14 against Kansas in the 2014 Big 12 Championships.
• For the season, Willock is averaging 7.0 points, 5.4 rebounds and 1.3 assists. She is second on the team and ranks 18th in the Big 12 in rebounding for all games. She has seven games with 10 or more points and five or more rebounds.
• In 17 games coming off the bench, Willock is averaging 6.9 points and 5.6 rebounds in 20.0 minutes of action. Six of her seven double figure scoring games this season have come when she has entered the game off the bench.
