K-State Selected to Make Four Appearances on Big 12 TV Package

MANHATTAN, Kansas – Kansas State women's basketball will have the opportunity to share its 50th season of action with a number of audiences this season, as four of the Wildcats' league games have been selected by the Big 12 Conference television partners for the upcoming season.
K-State's matchup with Texas has been adjusted to Sunday, January 7, as the game was selected for air by ESPNU. Game time is 1 p.m. This will be K-State's first appearance on ESPNU in the program's history. The Wildcats own a 22-17 overall record in games played on the ESPN family of networks.
Kansas State will make its third all-time appearance on FS1, as the Wildcats visit Kansas on Sunday, January 28. Game time is 4 p.m., in Lawrence.
The Wildcats will play two games on FOX Sports Regional Networks (FSN) with the first against Oklahoma State on Saturday, January 13 at 1 p.m. The next game on FSN will be the regular season home finale on Saturday, February 24 against KU at 3 p.m.
When playing on the FOX Sports family of networks, Kansas State owns an all-time record of 100-72 (.581)
All nine games of the 2018 Big 12 Championship will be televised for the fifth consecutive year beginning with the two first round contests on FOX College Sports. Quarterfinal games will air on FSN for the 17th consecutive year while the semifinals and final will make their fifth appearance on FS1. The final three games have appeared on FOX Sports networks every year since the inception of the Conference in 1996-97.
A full television schedule, including third-tier selections by Kansas State's television partners and road selections, will be announced later this fall.
For the 2017-18 season, K-State returns six letter winners from the 2016-17 squad that reached the second round of the 2017 NCAA Tournament and secured 23 wins. Overall, K-State returns 72 percent of its assists, 56 percent of its rebounding and 52 percent of its scoring.
In addition to the returning letter winners, Kansas State welcomes in six newcomers for the 2017-18 season including: freshmen guards Cymone Goodrich (Chicago, Illinois), Rachel Ranke (Burnsville, Minnesota) and Alisa Wiggins (Montclair, New Jersey) and posts Mary Lakes (Peoria, Illinois) and Ashley Ray (Girard, Kansas). The Wildcats also added junior forward Kali Jones (Murrieta, California) and junior center Anastasia Tsybaeva (Burbank, California).
