Killeen Named to U.S. Collegiate National Team-Detroit Roster

MANHATTAN, Kan. – K-State volleyball's Reilly Killeen was selected to the U.S. Women's Collegiate National Team-Detroit (CNT-Detroit) roster, as announced by USA Volleyball Tuesday.
Killeen, a 5-foot-4 libero entering her senior season at K-State, is one of 24 named to the team that will train and compete in Detroit from June 22 to July 1. Killeen is one of four liberos chosen to the squad.
The CNT-Detoit squad, which is part of USA Volleyball's High Performance pipline and is considered a second tryout for the U.S. Women's National Team, will train from June 22-26 at the University of Michigan. Afterward, the athletes will be assigned to one of two 12-member teams that will play three exhibition matches against each other at the Cobo Center from June 27, June 28 and June 30. The matches are being held in conjunction with the USA Volleyball Girls' Junior National Championships under the same roof.
A native of Honolulu, Hawaii, Killeen was one of two Wildcats to play in every set during the 2017 season. Playing every set at the Cats' libero, she registered a team-best 412 digs and 3.55 digs per set. She was third on the team with 19 service aces.
K-State is in the midst of its spring competition schedule and will co-host an event at UMKC in Kansas City on Saturday, April 14. Teams scheduled to compete, in addition to the Cats, include Creighton, Kansas, Missouri, Northern Iowa, Oklahoma, Rockhurst, Saint Louis, UMKC and Wichita State.
