K-State to Host Women’s Basketball Mid-Summer Bash

MANHATTAN, Kansas – Kansas State Athletics is inviting fans to meet the 2018-19 women's basketball team and coaching staff at a special Mid-Summer Bash on Sunday, July 15 from 5-7 p.m., at the Ice Family Basketball Center. The event is free and features free food and games.

Activities for all ages at the event will include: a dunk tank, inflatable games, money machine, a photo booth, face painting and a number of carnival games. Willie the Wildcat will also be in attendance, while the K-State women's basketball players will sign autographs during the event.

Season tickets for the upcoming 2018-19 K-State women's basketball season are on sale now. For the second straight season, fans can purchase two general admission season tickets for only $50, a savings of more than $100.
 
Additional season ticket options include Cat Cushion tickets at $99 per seat, as well as Chairback seats for $132 each (plus a $50 donation per season ticket account to the Ahearn Fund). K-State faculty and staff can purchase discounted season tickets in the Chairback sections at $110 each and Cat Cushion sections at $79 per ticket.
 
A limited number of premium courtside and floor-level seats are also on sale for $165 each, with per-seat Ahearn Fund donations of $500 required for courtside tickets and $100 for floor-level seats. Fans can contact the Ahearn Fund at 888-232-9074 to purchase.
 
Season tickets for the 2018-19 season come with several benefits. For the fourth straight season, all season ticket holders will receive concessions discounts including $1 off all hot dogs, popcorn, pretzels and large souvenir fountain drinks at any of the main concession stands (not valid on promotional pricing offers).
 
All women's basketball season ticket holders can participate in the roll-over ticket program for the upcoming season. Fans may redeem unused game tickets for general admission seats to future games by mailing their unused tickets to the ticket office, by visiting the K-State Ticket Office in advance or by bringing their unused tickets to the game they want to attend.
 
Payment plans for season ticket purchases by credit card are available. Season ticket orders conducted by the July 20 priority deadline may be enrolled in the four-month payment plan. Credit card payment plans can be coordinated through the online renewal applications on www.k-statesports.com for returning season ticket holders, or by calling the ticket office at (800) 221-CATS for all renewal and new customers.

Season-long parking passes are available for purchase for just $50. Parking passes can be ordered by visiting www.k-statesports.com/tickets, or by calling the K-State Ticket Office at 1-800-221-CATS. All Bramlage Coliseum parking lots on the east and west sides are general admission for K-State women's basketball events. Lots open 90 minutes prior to tip-off, and all parking stalls are first come, first served.

Kansas State concluded the 2017-18 season with an 18-16 overall record and a Round of 16 appearance in the 2018 WNIT. This was the fourth straight season the Wildcats reached the postseason under the direction of head coach Jeff Mittie.

The Wildcats ranked among the top-35 in the nation for average attendance for the 17th consecutive season in 2017-18.

K-State will return eight letter winners from the 2017-18 season for the 2018-19 season, led by All-Big 12 selections Kayla Goth, Peyton Williams and Rachel Ranke. The Wildcats will also welcome in its highest ranked recruiting class during Mittie's tenure with four freshmen: Christianna Carr, Ayoka Lee, Laura Macke and Savannah Simmons joining the roster for next season.
