
K-State Baseball Alumni Weekend Set for October 12-14

MANHATTAN, Kan. – Kansas State baseball's 4th Annual Varsity K Club and Baseball Reunion Weekend is set for October 12-14 in Manhattan, with events that include a welcome reception, golf outing and the K-State vs. Oklahoma State football game.
Alumni of the K-State baseball program are invited for a weekend full of exciting events that kicks off Friday, October 12 with a meet and greet with first-year head coach Pete Hughes at the Wamego Country Club at 10 a.m., followed by a round of golf at 11 a.m.
Check in and a welcome reception will happen Friday evening from 5:30-6:30 p.m., at the Steve and Kay Theede Club in the West Stadium Center of Bill Snyder Family Stadium. Attendees are then encouraged to attend the K-State soccer match against Texas Tech at the K-State Soccer Complex at 6 p.m.
Saturday's activities include a tailgate at the Brandeberry Indoor Baseball Facility with a meet and greet with the K-State baseball staff prior to the K-State vs. Oklahoma State football game. Kickoff time of the game is yet to be announced.
The weekend concludes with a farewell breakfast with K-State Director of Athletics Gene Taylor at the Varsity K Club Performance Table inside the West Stadium Center at 9 a.m.
Tickets for the weekend are available at K-StateSports.com/grouptickets and are for members of the Varsity K Club. Members receive four complimentary tickets to the welcome reception, tailgate and farewell breakfast.
