Sep 21, 2018 | Men's Golf
SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. – The Kansas State men's golf team found itself playing from behind after a slow start but wound up finishing 3-under par 280 and tied for 10th following the first round of the Maui Jim Intercollegiate on Friday at the par-70, 7,081-yard Mirabel Golf Club.
"I'm really proud of the guys and the fight they showed today," head coach Grant Robbins said. "For whatever reason, we got off to a really poor start, but they hung in there, didn't panic and played really solid that last 11 holes. It was a lot to build on and I'm looking forward to the next couple of days.
