Evan Marshall, Chicago White Sox
Marshall has split time in 2019 with the Chicago White Sox and Triple-A Charlotte and is currently with the White Sox after being called up on May 1. In 27 relief outings with Chicago, Marshall has a 3-1 record with a 3.00 ERA, picking up victories in three straight appearances from June 11-18. He has racked up 17 strikeouts against seven walks. He allowed the first earned runs of the season at Texas on June 22, snapping a scoreless streak of 17 1/3 innings to begin the season. Marshall appeared twice in Chicago's series with Oakland over the weekend, totaling two innings of work with one hit allowed and an earned run. While with the Charlotte Knights, Marshall went 3-0 with a 0.00 ERA (0 ER, 10.0 IP) to go with two saves and 13 strikeouts in nine outings. Marshall was a fourth-round pick of the Arizona Diamondbacks in 2011.
Carlos Torres, Rochester Red Wings (Triple-A, Minnesota Twins)
Torres signed a minor league contract with the Minnesota Twins on June 26 after being designated for assignment by the Detroit Tigers on June 22. Since joining the Rochester Red Wings, Torres has made five appearances and owns a 3-1 record with a 3.97 ERA (5 ER, 11.1 IP). He has thrown three innings in each of his last two outings, including three shutout frames on July 5 against Scranton/Wilkes-Barre. Torres struck out three on July 11 against Lehigh Valley in his last game. Torres began the 2019 season with Triple-A El Paso (San Diego) before being signed by Detroit and being assigned to Triple-A Toledo. Torres was called up on June 9 and appeared in four games with the Tigers. In six innings of relief, Torres struck out eight with nine hits allowed and five earned runs against him (7.50 ERA). While at Triple-A El Paso, Torres posted a 2.49 ERA over 25 1/3 innings (15 games) while picking up 23 strikeouts. He did not yield a run over five outings (5 2/3 innings) with Toledo before his contract was selected by Detroit. Torres was selected by the Chicago White Sox in the 15th round of the 2004 MLB Draft.
Nick Martini, Las Vegas Aviators (Triple-A, Oakland Athletics)
Martini, in his second year in the Oakland Athletics organization, is currently in Triple-A Las Vegas after beginning the season on the 10-day injured list. In 48 games with the Aviators, Martini has a slash line of .344/.445/.476 with 13 doubles, four home runs and 33 runs batted in. The former Wildcat is currently on a six-game hitting streak, including five straight multi-hit games in that stretch. Over his last 10 games, he is hitting .405 with three home runs and eight RBI. On July 14, Martini homered and drove in four in an 11-4 win over Salt Lake. Martini made his Major League debut with the A's on June 6, 2018 against the Texas Rangers and appeared in 55 games with Oakland and earned a spot on its playoff roster in 2018. He hit .296 with a home run, nine doubles and 19 RBI with the Athletics last season and remains on the team's 40-man roster. The former All-American outfielder was a seventh-round selection of the St. Louis Cardinals in 2011.
Nate Griep, Biloxi Shuckers (Double-A, Milwaukee Brewers)
Griep, who is in his fifth season in the Milwaukee Brewers' system, is in his second season with Double-A Biloxi. On July 6, he was called up to Triple-A San Antonio before being reassigned to Biloxi on July 11. Griep made his Triple-A debut on July 7 at New Orleans, throwing 1 2/3 scoreless innings with just one hit allowed and two strikeouts. While with Biloxi this season, Griep picked up 15 saves in 16 opportunities to go with a 1.51 ERA (6 ER, 35.2 IP) and 39 strikeouts. He is 4-1 in 28 games with Biloxi and is the all-time saves leader in Shuckers history with 49. Griep was named a Southern League All-Star for the second straight season in 2019. In just over four seasons, Griep has totaled 103 saves in 116 opportunities to go with 216 strikeouts. Griep was an eighth-round selection by the Milwaukee Brewers in the 2015 MLB Draft.
Josh Rolette, Lake County Captains (Class-A Full Season, Cleveland Indians)
Rolette has a slash line of .189/.294/.254 with six doubles, a triple and 16 RBI in 37 games with Lake County this season. Rolette was activated from the 7-day injured list on June 4 and has recorded two doubles over his last five games. Rolette, who was taken in the 39th round of the 2017 MLB Draft by Cleveland, appeared in 56 games for the Captains in 2018. He posted a slash line of .253/.360/.388 with four home runs, 21 runs batted in and 11 doubles last season with Lake County.
Drew Mount, Daytona Tortugas (Class-A Advanced, Cincinnati Reds)
Mount is in his second season in the Reds' organization and was assigned to Class-A (advanced) Daytona after spending the 2018 season with the Billings Mustangs (rookie). In 47 games this season, Mount owns a slash line of .229/.270/.324 with a homer, eight doubles, three triples and 17 runs batted in with 13 stolen bases. He has hit safely in three of his last six games, including a 2-for-4 effort on July 4 at St. Lucie. Mount was the only Wildcat taken in the 2018 MLB Draft, a 16th-round selection by Cincinnati. Mount was K-State's leader in home runs, RBI, triples and steals in his one season at K-State.
Will Brennan, AZL Indians Blue (Rookie, Cleveland Indians)
Brennan was the only Wildcat taken in the 2019 MLB Draft, as he was taken in the eighth round (No. 250 overall) by the Cleveland Indians. Brennan was assigned to the AZL Indians Blue (Rookie) on June 17. In 20 games, he has a slash line of .364/.427/.519 with six doubles, three triples, 17 RBI and 18 runs scored. Brennan is currently on a 10-game hitting streak, going 18-for-40 (.450) with nine RBI and 10 runs scored in that stretch. He has registered multiple hits in each of his last four games, including three straight three-hit games from July 11-13, and has tallied an RBI in his last five games. Brennan recorded his first professional hit on June 20, a triple against the AZL Reds. In three seasons at K-State, Brennan produced 208 base hits with a .332 career average and was the nation's toughest hitting to strike out in 2019.

Luke Bay, Juno Beach Loggerheads (Collegiate League of the Palm Beaches)
Bay has made six appearances (five starts) for the Juno Beach (Florida) Loggerheads of the Collegiate League of the Palm Beaches. Bay has a record of 2-1 with a 6.19 ERA (14 ER, 20.1 IP) with a team-high 31 strikeouts. In his last outing, Bay struck out six batters over 5 2/3 innings with two earned runs allowed on seven hits. He has struck out 22 hitters in his last three starts (two wins) over 14 innings. The Loggerheads are currently 8-6 and in third place in the Collegiate League of the Palm Beaches standings.
Kasey Ford, Rockford Rivets (Northwoods League)
Playing for the Rockford (Illinois) Rivets, Ford has made five starts while totaling 29 2/3 innings. Ford has a 1.51 earned run average with 28 strikeouts. In his last start, Ford threw six innings without an earned run allowed while striking out four in a 6-3 win over Kalamazoo on June 27. It marked his third consecutive quality start after he tossed 8 1/3 innings with one earned run allowed with nine strikeouts on June 20 against Kenosha. Ford yielded just one earned run over his last 20 1/3 innings while striking out 17, as he lasted pitched on June 27. The Rivets finished the first half of the season 20-15 (second) in the Great Lakes East division of the Northwoods League standings and are currently 5-8 in the second half (tied for third).
Luke Hauswirth, Midwest Nationals (Show-Me League)
Playing for the Midwest (Springfield, Missouri) Nationals, Hauswirth is 3-0 with a 1.87 ERA in five starts. Hauswirth earned his third win of the season in his last start against the Springfield Cobras on July 12. He tossed four innings against the Cobras, striking out six with five hits and three earned allowed. Hauswirth went six full innings a start against Central Missouri with 11 strikeouts. Hauswirth is tied for fourth in the Show-Me League with 31 strikeouts and has given up just 12 hits in 24 innings pitched. The Nationals are currently 12-11 and in second place in the Show-Me League standings.
Caleb Littlejim, Waterloo Bucks (Northwoods League)
In 15 games for the Waterloo (Iowa) Bucks, Littlejim has a slash line of .244/.346/.444 with a double, triple and two home runs. Littlejim has driven in 12 and scored 11 runs. He homered in back-to-back games on June 3-4 against Mankato. He has hit safely in his last two games, driving in a run on July 7 against La Crosse. The Bucks finished first during the first half of the season in the Great Plains East division with a record of 20-16 and are currently 4-8 (fourth) in the second half of the Northwoods League standings.
Brett Lockwood, Waterloo Bucks (Northwoods League)

Herb is hitting .316 with an on-base percentage of .435, four doubles and nine RBI in 23 games for the Hornell (New York) Dodgers. Herb has stolen 13 bases and scored 19 runs this season and saw his 10-game hitting streak come to an end on July 1. Herb was 14-for-38 (.368) during his 10-game hitting streak with four RBI and three multi-hit games. Hornell is 13-18-2 and in fifth place in the Western Division of the NYCBL standings.
Zach Kokoska, Orleans Firebirds (Cape Cod Baseball League)
Playing for the Orleans (Massachusetts) Firebirds, Kokoska is hitting .273 in 21 games with an on-base percentage of .338 and a slugging percentage of .333. He has driven in four with a double and a home run. Kokoska is 4-for-8 with four runs scored in his last two games, including going 3-for-5 with three runs on July 13 against Yarmouth-Dennis. Jordan Maxson, St. Joseph Mustangs (MINK League)

Playing for the Rockford (Illinois) Rivets, Burrows owns a slash line of .264/.407/.310 in 33 games. Burrows has turned in two doubles, a triple, 12 runs scored, 18 walks and 19 stolen bases. Playing the Pittsfield (Massachusetts) Suns of the FCBL, Hughes has a slash line of .180/.354/.281 in 26 games. Hughes has four doubles, a triple and a home run with four RBI and 21 walks drawn.
