Evan Marshall, Chicago White Sox
Marshall has split time in 2019 with the Chicago White Sox and Triple-A Charlotte and is currently with the White Sox after being called up on May 1. In 25 relief outings with Chicago, Marshall has a 3-1 record with a 2.86 ERA, picking up victories in three straight appearances from June 11-18. He has racked up 15 strikeouts against six walks. He allowed the first earned runs of the season at Texas on June 22, snapping a scoreless streak of 17 1/3 innings to begin the season. Marshall tossed two perfect innings of relief against Detroit on July 3, picking up a strikeout while tallying his seventh hold of the season. While with the Charlotte Knights, Marshall went 3-0 with a 0.00 ERA (0 ER, 10.0 IP) to go with two saves and 13 strikeouts in nine outings. Marshall was a fourth-round pick of the Arizona Diamondbacks in 2011.
Carlos Torres, Rochester Red Wings (Triple-A, Minnesota Twins)
Torres signed a minor league contract with the Minnesota Twins on June 26 after being designated for assignment by the Detroit Tigers on June 22. Since joining the Rochester Red Wings, Torres has made four appearances and owns a 2-1 record with a 3.24 ERA (3 ER, 8.1 IP). He threw three scoreless innings in his last outing on July 5 against Scranton/Wilkes-Barre. Torres began the 2019 season with Triple-A El Paso (San Diego) before being signed by Detroit and being assigned to Triple-A Toledo. Torres was called up on June 9 and appeared in four games with the Tigers. In six innings of relief, Torres struck out eight with nine hits allowed and five earned runs against him (7.50 ERA). While at Triple-A El Paso, Torres posted a 2.49 ERA over 25 1/3 innings (15 games) while picking up 23 strikeouts. He did not yield a run over five outings (5 2/3 innings) with Toledo before his contract was selected by Detroit. Torres was selected by the Chicago White Sox in the 15th round of the 2004 MLB Draft.
Nick Martini, Las Vegas Aviators (Triple-A, Oakland Athletics)
Martini, in his second year in the Oakland Athletics organization, is currently in Triple-A Las Vegas after beginning the season on the 10-day injured list. In 44 games with the Aviators, Martini has a slash line of .335/.440/.451 with 11 doubles, three home runs and 28 runs batted in. The former Wildcat is hitting .325 with three multi-hit games over his last 10 outings, including a back-to-back three-hit outputs in his last two games at Albuquerque. He belted two homers in his last four games with three three-hit games in that stretch. Martini made his Major League debut with the A's on June 6, 2018 against the Texas Rangers and appeared in 55 games with Oakland and earned a spot on its playoff roster in 2018. He hit .296 with a home run, nine doubles and 19 RBI with the Athletics last season and remains on the team's 40-man roster. The former All-American outfielder was a seventh-round selection of the St. Louis Cardinals in 2011.
Nate Griep, San Antonio Missions (Triple-A, Milwaukee Brewers)
Griep, who is in his fifth season in the Milwaukee Brewers' system, was promoted to Triple-A San Antonio after two seasons with Double-A Biloxi. He made his Triple-A debut on July 7 at New Orleans, throwing 1 2/3 scoreless innings with just one hit allowed and two strikeouts. While with Biloxi, Griep picked up 15 saves in 16 opportunities to go with a 1.51 ERA (6 ER, 35.2 IP) and 39 strikeouts. He was 4-1 in 28 games with Biloxi and is the all-time saves leader in Shuckers history with 49. Griep was named a Southern League All-Star for the second straight season in 2019. In just over four seasons, Griep has totaled 103 saves in 116 opportunities to go with 216 strikeouts. Griep was an eighth-round selection by the Milwaukee Brewers in the 2015 MLB Draft.
Josh Rolette, Lake County Captains (Class-A Full Season, Cleveland Indians)
Rolette has a slash line of .192/.295/.250 with four doubles, a triple and 16 RBI in 32 games with Lake County this season. Rolette was activated from the 7-day injured list on June 4 and has recorded six RBI with four runs scored over his last 10 games. Rolette, who was taken in the 39th round of the 2017 MLB Draft by Cleveland, appeared in 56 games for the Captains in 2018. He posted a slash line of .253/.360/.388 with four home runs, 21 runs batted in and 11 doubles last season with Lake County.
Drew Mount, Daytona Tortugas (Class-A Advanced, Cincinnati Reds)
Mount enters his second season in the Reds' organization and was assigned to Class-A (advanced) Daytona after spending the 2018 season with the Billings Mustangs (rookie). In 45 games this season, Mount owns a slash line of .238/.280/.337 with a homer, eight doubles, three triples and 17 runs batted in with 12 stolen bases. He has hit safely in three of his last four games, including a 2-for-4 effort on July 4 at St. Lucie. Mount was the only Wildcat taken in the 2018 MLB Draft, a 16th-round selection by Cincinnati. Mount was K-State's leader in home runs, RBI, triples and steals in his one season at K-State.
Will Brennan, AZL Indians Blue (Rookie, Cleveland Indians)
Brennan was the only Wildcat taken in the 2019 MLB Draft, as he was taken in the eighth round (No. 250 overall) by the Cleveland Indians. Brennan was assigned to the AZL Indians Blue (Rookie) on June 17. In 15 games, he has a .286 average (16-for-56) with three doubles, three triples, 10 RBI and 14 runs scored. Brennan is currently on a five-game hitting streak, going 6-for19 with six runs and two RBI in that stretch. Brennan recorded his first professional hit on June 20, a triple against the AZL Reds. In three seasons at K-State, Brennan produced 208 base hits with a .332 career average and was the nation's toughest hitting to strike out in 2019.

Luke Bay, Juno Beach Loggerheads (Collegiate League of the Palm Beaches)
Bay has made five appearances (four starts) for the Juno Beach (Florida) Loggerheads of the Collegiate League of the Palm Beaches. Bay has a record of 2-0 with a 7.36 ERA (12 ER, 14.2 IP) with 25 strikeouts. In his last outing, Bay struck out seven batters over four innings with one run allowed on just one hit to earn the victory. He has struck out 16 hitters in his last two starts (both wins) over 8 1/3 innings. The Loggerheads are currently 7-4 and in a tie for second place in the Collegiate League of the Palm Beaches standings.
Kasey Ford, Rockford Rivets (Northwoods League)
Playing for the Rockford (Illinois) Rivets, Ford has made five starts while totaling 29 2/3 innings. Ford has a 1.51 earned run average with 28 strikeouts. In his last start, Ford threw six innings without an earned run allowed while striking out four in a 6-3 win over Kalamazoo on June 27. It marked his third consecutive quality start after he tossed 8 1/3 innings with one earned run allowed with nine strikeouts on June 20 against Kenosha. Ford yielded just one earned run over his last 20 1/3 innings while striking out 17, as he lasted pitched on June 27. The Rivets finished the first half of the season 20-15 (second) in the Great Lakes East division of the Northwoods League standings and are currently 1-4 in the second half (sixth).
Luke Hauswirth, Midwest Nationals (Show-Me League)
Playing for the Midwest (Springfield, Missouri) Nationals, Hauswirth is 2-0 with a 0.90 ERA in four starts. Hauswirth earned his second win of the season in his last start against the Ozark Wild on June 25. He tossed four shutout innings against the Wild, allowing one hit with two strikeouts. He went six full innings a start against Central Missouri with 11 strikeouts. Hauswirth leads the Show-Me League with 25 strikeouts and has given up just seven hits in 20 innings. The Nationals are currently 10-8 and in second place in the Show-Me League standings.
Caleb Littlejim, Waterloo Bucks (Northwoods League)
In 14 games for the Waterloo (Iowa) Bucks, Littlejim has a slash line of .227/.333/.432 with a double, triple and two home runs. Littlejim has driven in 12 and scored 11 runs. He homered in back-to-back games on June 3-4 against Mankato. July 7 marked his first game since June 15, as he went 1-for-2 with an RBI and two walks. The Bucks finished first during the first half of the season in the Great Plains East division with a record of 20-16 and are currently 2-3 (fourth) in the second half of the Northwoods League standings.
Brett Lockwood, Waterloo Bucks (Northwoods League)

Chris Herb, Hornell Dodgers (New York Collegiate Baseball League)
Herb is hitting .320 with an on-base percentage of .440, four doubles and nine RBI in 21 games for the Hornell (New York) Dodgers. Herb has stolen 13 bases and scored 19 runs this season and saw his 10-game hitting streak come to an end on July 1. Herb was 14-for-38 (.368) during his 10-game hitting streak with four RBI and three multi-hit games. Hornell is 10-13-1 and in fifth place in the Western Division of the NYCBL standings.
Zach Kokoska, Orleans Firebirds (Cape Cod Baseball League)
Playing for the Orleans (Massachusetts) Firebirds, Kokoska is hitting .275 in 17 games with an on-base percentage of .345 and a slugging percentage of .353. He has driven in four with a double and a home run. Kokoska has produced three multi-hit efforts over his last eight games, going 2-for-5 with a home run against Harwich on June 30 and 2-for-3 with a double against Chatham on July 4. Orleans is 11-9-2 and in third in the East Division of the Cape Cod standings.
Jordan Maxson, St. Joseph Mustangs (MINK League)
Playing for the St. Joseph (Missouri) Mustangs, Maxson has a slash line of .306/.394/.519 in 28 games. Maxson has five doubles, three triples and four homers while driving in 30 runs. Maxson produced a stretch of four straight multi-hit games, including a 4-for-5 effort on July 6 in which he drove in three. Passino has made nine relief appearances for the Mankato (Minnesota) MoonDogs of the Northwoods League. In 13 1/3 innings, Passino has struck out eight with 14 earned runs allowed (9.44 ERA). Passino has not allowed an earned run over his last three innings (two games), as he pitched two perfect innings of relief against St. Cloud on June 30 to go with a scoreless inning on July 6 at Bismarck. The MoonDogs finished the first half of the season with a record of 15-21 (fifth) in the Great Plains West division and are 4-1 (first) in the second half.
