Evan Marshall, Chicago White Sox
Marshall has split time in 2019 with the Chicago White Sox and Triple-A Charlotte and is currently with the White Sox after being called up on May 1. In 35 relief outings with Chicago, Marshall has a 3-1 record with a 2.20 ERA (8 ER, 32.2 IP) with 25 strikeouts against 12 walks. Marshall has not allowed an earned run in eight straight outings, a span of 8 2/3 innings, including a scoreless inning with two strikeouts on August 6 at Detroit. He began the season with a scoreless streak of 17 1/3 innings, allowing his first earned runs of the season at Texas on June 22. While with the Charlotte Knights, Marshall went 3-0 with a 0.00 ERA (0 ER, 10.0 IP) to go with two saves and 13 strikeouts in nine outings. Marshall was a fourth-round pick of the Arizona Diamondbacks in 2011.
Nick Martini, Oakland Athletics
Martini, in his second year in the Oakland Athletics organization, is currently with the A's after being called up from Triple-A Las Vegas on July 31. It marks his second stint with the big club after also being recalled on July 22. Martini's first hit this season was a two-run, pinch-hit home run on August 5 at the Chicago Cubs. The homered marked Martini's second career Major League home run. In 60 games with the Las Vegas Aviators (Triple-A), Martini posted a slash line of .332/.435/.460 with 15 doubles, five home runs and 36 runs batted in. He hit his fifth homer of the year on July 26 against the El Paso Chihuahuas while driving in a pair. Martini made his Major League debut with the A's on June 6, 2018 against the Texas Rangers and appeared in 55 games and earned a spot on Oakland's playoff roster in 2018. He hit .296 with a home run, nine doubles and 19 RBI with the Athletics last season and remains on the team's 40-man roster. The former All-American outfielder was a seventh-round selection of the St. Louis Cardinals in 2011.
Carlos Torres, Sacramento River Cats (Triple-A, San Francisco Giants)
Torres signed a minor league contract with the San Francisco Giants on August 11 after being released by the Minnesota Twins on July 30. Torres was assigned to Triple-A Sacramento and made his debut on August 11, throwing three perfect innings in his first start of the season with three strikeouts in a 3-2 victory over Nashville. The Giants are Torres' fourth organization in 2019, as he has spent time in Triple-A with San Diego, Detroit and Minnesota. Torres appeared in four games with the Tigers and threw six innings of relief. He struck out eight with nine hits allowed and five earned runs against him (7.50 ERA). Torres began the season with Triple-A El Paso (Padres) and posted a 2.49 ERA over 25 1/3 innings (15 games) while picking up 23 strikeouts. Torres was selected by the Chicago White Sox in the 15th round of the 2004 MLB Draft.
Nate Griep, Biloxi Shuckers (Double-A, Milwaukee Brewers)
Griep, who is in his fifth season in the Milwaukee Brewers' system, is in his second season with Double-A Biloxi. While with Biloxi this season, Griep has picked up 19 saves in 23 opportunities to go with a 1.91 ERA (10 ER, 47.0 IP) and 45 strikeouts. He has two earned runs allowed over his last 10 1/3 inning of relief and tossed a scoreless 1 1/3 innings in earning the win on August 11 against Tennessee in his last appearance. On July 6, he was called up to Triple-A San Antonio and made his Triple-A debut on July 7 before being reassigned to Biloxi on July 11. He is 6-1 in 38 games with Biloxi this season and is the all-time saves leader in Shuckers history with 53. Griep was named a Southern League All-Star for the second straight season in 2019. In just over four seasons, Griep has totaled 107 saves in 123 opportunities to go with 222 strikeouts. Griep was an eighth-round selection by the Milwaukee Brewers in the 2015 MLB Draft.
Drew Mount, Daytona Tortugas (Class-A Advanced, Cincinnati Reds)
Mount is in his second season in the Reds' organization and was assigned to Class-A (advanced) Daytona after spending the 2018 season with the Billings Mustangs (rookie). In 63 games this season, Mount owns a slash line of .252/.288/.328 with a homer, nine doubles, three triples and 25 runs batted in with 16 stolen bases. He has hit safely in each of his last four games, including a 3-for-3 effort with an RBI on August 11 against St. Lucie. Mount has 11 base hits over his last 10 games, with hits in eight of 10 games. Mount was the only Wildcat taken in the 2018 MLB Draft, a 16th-round selection by Cincinnati. Mount was K-State's leader in home runs, RBI, triples and steals in his one season at K-State.
Josh Rolette, Lake County Captains (Class-A Full Season, Cleveland Indians)
Rolette has a slash line of .201/.296/.287 with 10 doubles, a triple, a home run and 26 RBI in 54 games with Lake County this season. Rolette homered in his last game on August 11 against West Michigan, going 2-for-4. He has turned in back-to-back multi-hit games and has nine hits over his last 10 games. Rolette, who was taken in the 39th round of the 2017 MLB Draft by Cleveland, appeared in 56 games for the Captains in 2018. He posted a slash line of .253/.360/.388 with four home runs, 21 runs batted in and 11 doubles last season with Lake County.
Will Brennan, Mahoning Valley Scrappers (Class-A Short Season, Cleveland Indians)
Brennan was the only Wildcat taken in the 2019 MLB Draft, as he was taken in the eighth round (No. 250 overall) by the Cleveland Indians. Brennan was promoted to the Mahoning Valley Scrappers (Class A) on August 1 after 31 games with the AZL Indians Blue (Rookie). Since being promoted, he has a slash line of .171/.275/.171 in nine games with Mahoning Valley, with three RBI and three stolen bases. In 31 games with the AZL Indians Blue, he posted a slash line of .306/.389/.438 with seven doubles, three triples, a home run and 23 RBI. Brennan tallied his first professional home run on July 16 against the AZL Padres, going 3-for-5 with three RBI. Brennan recorded his first professional hit on June 20, a triple against the AZL Reds. In three seasons at K-State, Brennan produced 208 base hits with a .332 career average and was the nation's toughest hitting to strike out in 2019.
SENIORS IN 2019-20
Luke Bay, Juno Beach Loggerheads (Collegiate League of the Palm Beaches)
Bay made eight appearances (seven starts) for the Juno Beach (Florida) Loggerheads of the Collegiate League of the Palm Beaches. Bay posted a record of 2-1 with a 6.38 ERA (22 ER, 31.0 IP) and was second on the team with 41 strikeouts. In his last outing, Bay struck out four batters over six innings with four earned runs allowed on six hits. He has struck out 32 hitters in his last five starts (two wins) over 24 2/3 innings. The Loggerheads finished the regular season 13-10 and earned an appearance in the championship game in the Collegiate League of the Palm Beaches playoffs.
Kasey Ford, Rockford Rivets (Northwoods League)
Playing for the Rockford (Illinois) Rivets, Ford made five starts while totaling 29 2/3 innings. Ford has a 1.51 earned run average with 28 strikeouts. In his last start, Ford threw six innings without an earned run allowed while striking out four in a 6-3 win over Kalamazoo on June 27. It marked his third consecutive quality start after he tossed 8 1/3 innings with one earned run allowed with nine strikeouts on June 20 against Kenosha. Ford yielded just one earned run over his last 20 1/3 innings while striking out 17, as he lasted pitched on June 27. The Rivets finished the first half of the season 20-15 (second) in the Great Lakes East division of the Northwoods League standings and are currently 13-24 in the second half (fifth).
Luke Hauswirth, Midwest Nationals (Show-Me League)
Playing for the Midwest (Springfield, Missouri) Nationals, Hauswirth went 3-0 with a 1.87 ERA in five starts. Hauswirth earned his third win of the season in his last start against the Springfield Cobras on July 12. He tossed four innings against the Cobras, striking out six with five hits and three earned allowed. Hauswirth went six full innings a start against Central Missouri with 11 strikeouts. Hauswirth led the Nationals with three wins and was second with 31 strikeouts while allowing just 12 hits over 24 innings pitched. The Nationals finished the regular season 13-20 and in third place in the Show-Me League standings.
Caleb Littlejim, Waterloo Bucks (Northwoods League)
In 15 games for the Waterloo (Iowa) Bucks, Littlejim has a slash line of .244/.346/.444 with a double, triple and two home runs. Littlejim has driven in 12 and scored 11 runs. He homered in back-to-back games on June 3-4 against Mankato. He has hit safely in his last two games, driving in a run on July 7 against La Crosse. The Bucks finished first during the first half of the season in the Great Plains East division with a record of 20-16 and are currently 14-19 (fourth) in the second half of the Northwoods League standings.
Brett Lockwood, Waterloo Bucks (Northwoods League)
Playing for the Waterloo (Iowa) Bucks, Lockwood has appeared 20 times while posting an ERA of 2.03 (7 ER, 31.0 IP) with a 3-0 record. Lockwood has allowed one earned run over his last seven relief outings, totaling 12 1/3 innings and eight strikeouts. Lockwood tossed two scoreless innings on August 8 against Duluth in his last appearance, striking out three and allowing one hit. He picked up victories in consecutive outings on June 22 and June 26 and picked up back-to-back saves on July 2 and July 6. Lockwood has struck out 21 while issuing just seven walks this season. Playing for the Harwich (Massachusetts) Mariners, Thompson posted a slash line of .154/.227/.179 in 12 games. Thompson, who last appeared in a game on June 30, had a four-game hitting streak from June 22-28, with a double and an RBI in that stretch. Harwich finished the regular season 21-21-2 in the East Division of the Cape Cod standings and reached the championship series of the Cape Cop playoffs.
JUNIORS IN 2019-20
Chris Herb, Hornell Dodgers (New York Collegiate Baseball League)
Herb hit .316 with an on-base percentage of .435, four doubles and nine RBI in 23 games for the Hornell (New York) Dodgers. Herb stole 13 bases and scored 19 runs this season and saw his 10-game hitting streak come to an end on July 1. Herb was 14-for-38 (.368) during his 10-game hitting streak with four RBI and three multi-hit games. Hornell finished the regular season 16-24-2 and in fifth place in the Western Division of the NYCBL standings.
Zach Kokoska, Orleans Firebirds (Cape Cod Baseball League)
Playing for the Orleans (Massachusetts) Firebirds, Kokoska hit .231 in 34 games with an on-base percentage of .289 and a slugging percentage of .269. He has driven in seven with a double and a home run. Kokoska went 2-for-4 with two RBI and a walk in the regular-season finale at Chatham. Orleans finished the regular season 23-17-4 and in first in the East Division of the Cape Cod standings before falling in the opening round of the Cape Cod playoffs.
Jordan Maxson, St. Joseph Mustangs (MINK League)
Playing for the St. Joseph (Missouri) Mustangs, Maxson posted a slash line of .335/.446/.590 in 42 games and helped lead the Mustangs to the 2019 MINK League title. Maxson registered eight doubles, three triples and nine homers while driving in 45 runs. Maxson's 45 RBI were second highest in the MINK league. He went 2-for-3 in the championship-clinching game against the Ozark Generals on July 26. Maxson turned in five multi-hit games over his final 10 games, including three straight multi-hit efforts from July 14-18. Maxson was named a MINK League All-Star for St. Joseph., who ended the regular season 29-8 and in first in the MINK North Division.
Jaxon Passino, Mankato MoonDogs (Northwoods League)
Passino has appeared in 17 games (three starts) for the Mankato (Minnesota) MoonDogs of the Northwoods League. In 39 innings, Passino has struck out 30 with an ERA of 5.30. Passino threw a complete game in a 12-4 win over St. Cloud on August 5, striking out four with one earned run allowed on six hits. He has earned the win in his last outings after throwing six innings with one earned run allowed on four hits and six strikeouts in a start at Thunder Bay on July 31. Passino has 18 strikeouts in his last five appearances (22.2 IP). The MoonDogs finished the first half of the season with a record of 15-21 (fifth) in the Great Plains West division and are 21-15 (second) in the second half.
Terrence Spurlin, St. Joseph Mustangs (MINK League)
Playing for the St. Joseph (Missouri) Mustangs, Spurlin posted a slash line of .280/.387/.392 in 32 games and helped lead the Mustangs to the 2019 MINK League title. Spurlin went 3-for-6 with two RBI and two runs scored in the championship-clinching victory over the Ozark Generals on July 26. He tallied multiple RBI in each of his final three games and drove in 11 runs over the last 10 games while ending the season on a four-game hitting streak. Spurlin was named a MINK League All-Star for St. Joseph, who ended the regular season 29-8 and in first in the MINK North Division.

Jeff Boggess, Pittsfield Suns (Futures Collegiate Baseball League of New England)
Boggess was named a 2019 FCBL All-Star and had a slash line of .274/.397/.379 in 33 games for the Pittsfield (Massachusetts) Suns. Boggess has produced two doubles, four home runs, 20 RBI and 21 runs scored. He ended the season on a three-game hitting streak, including a home run on July 29 against Westfield. He tallied base hits in eight of the last 10 games with six RBI and two homers. Pittsfield finished the regular season 28-27 and in fifth place in the FCBL standings.
Blake Burrows, Rockford Rivets (Northwoods League)
Playing for the Rockford (Illinois) Rivets, Burrows owns a slash line of .257/.400/.297 in 37 games. Burrows has turned in two doubles, a triple, 13 runs scored, 20 walks and 21 stolen bases. Burrows has four hits in his last five games with three RBI in a 13-3 win over Battle Creek on July 18. The Rivets finished the first half of the season 20-15 (second) in the Great Lakes East division of the Northwoods League standings and are currently 13-24 in the second half (fifth).

Seymour made nine appearances (six starts) for the Harwich (Massachusetts) Mariners, going 1-3 with a 5.46 ERA, including the Cape Cod playoffs. In the semifinal round, Seymour threw four scoreless innings in earning the victory for Harwich on August 5 against Yarmouth-Dennis. In 31 1/3 innings pitched this season, Seymour has struck out 22 with 19 earned runs allowed on 34 hits. On July 14, he threw a season-long six innings with two earned allowed on three hits while picking up two strikeouts. Harwich finished the regular season 21-21-2 in the East Division of the Cape Cod standings and reached the championship series of the Cape Cop playoffs.
Eric Torres, Wareham Gatemen (Cape Cod Baseball League)
Playing for the Wareham (Massachusetts) Gateman, Torres made four relief appearances. In 5 2/3 innings, Torres went 1-0 with a 4.76 ERA (3 ER, 5.2 IP) and six strikeouts. Torres allowed his first earned runs of the season in his final appearance on June 29 vs. Cotuit, snapping a streak of three straight scoreless outings. Wareham finished the regular season 24-18-2 and in second in the West Division of the Cape Cod League standings before falling in the opening round of the Cape Cod playoffs.
Kamron Willman, Palm Springs Blue Sox (Palm Springs Collegiate League)
Willman owned a slash line of .432/.512/.676 in 16 games for the Palm Springs (California) Blue Sox. Willman went 16-for-37 with two doubles, two triples and three RBI to go with 19 runs scored, five walks and four steals. Willman hit safely in five of his final six games, going 2-for-3 with a triple and a run scored in a 5-3 win over the Lumberjacks on July 3. Willman had four extra-base hits in his last six games and his average was sixth highest in the PSCL. The Blue Sox finished 9-10 and in fifth in the PSCL standings.
FRESHMAN IN 2019-20
Elijah Dale, Westfield Starfires (Futures Collegiate Baseball League of New England)
Playing the Westfield (Massachusetts) Starfires of the FCBL, Dale owned a slash line of .222/.283/.278 with five doubles, a home run and 16 runs batted in over 42 games. Dale turned in three multi-hit games in his last six games, going 2-for-4 with a double and run scored in his last game against the Bristol Blues on July 26. Westfield finished the regular season 15-41 and in seventh in the FCBL standings.
Dominic Hughes, Pittsfield Suns (Futures Collegiate Baseball League of New England)
Playing the Pittsfield (Massachusetts) Suns of the FCBL, Hughes had a slash line of .189/.373/.303 in 38 games. Hughes tallied four doubles, two triples and two home runs with six RBI and 31 walks drawn. He recorded two multi-hit games over his final three contests with a triple, home run and two RBI. Hughes drew five walks on July 24 in a 13-12 victory over Westfield. Pittsfield finished the regular season 28-27 and in fifth place in the FCBL standings.
Connor McCullough, Harwich Mariners (Cape Cod Baseball League)
Named a 2019 CCBL All-Star, McCullough has made two relief appearances and six starts for the Harwich (Massachusetts) Mariners, including two starts during the Cape Cod playoffs. McCullough got the start in the Mariners' 1-0 playoff victory over Chatham, throwing six hitless innings with five strikeouts as part of a combined no-hitter on August 2. He earned the start in Game 2 of the championship series with Cotuit, going four innings with three earned runs allowed on five hits and seven strikeouts. Including the playoffs, McCullough had an earned run average of 1.51 with six earned runs allowed over 35 2/3 innings while totaling 41 strikeouts. McCullough tossed eight shutout innings with nine strikeouts and three hits allowed in a 2-0 win over Chatham on July 9, earning Cape Cod League Pitcher of the Week honors. Harwich finished the regular season 21-21-2 in the East Division of the Cape Cod standings and reached the championship series of the Cape Cop playoffs.

Hornell finished the regular season 16-24-2 and in fifth place in the Western Division of the NYCBL standings.
Zach Kokoska, Orleans Firebirds (Cape Cod Baseball League)
Playing for the Orleans (Massachusetts) Firebirds, Kokoska hit .231 in 34 games with an on-base percentage of .289 and a slugging percentage of .269. He has driven in seven with a double and a home run. Kokoska went 2-for-4 with two RBI and a walk in the regular-season finale at Chatham. Orleans finished the regular season 23-17-4 and in first in the East Division of the Cape Cod standings before falling in the opening round of the Cape Cod playoffs.
Jordan Maxson, St. Joseph Mustangs (MINK League)
Playing for the St. Joseph (Missouri) Mustangs, Maxson posted a slash line of .335/.446/.590 in 42 games and helped lead the Mustangs to the 2019 MINK League title. Maxson registered eight doubles, three triples and nine homers while driving in 45 runs. Maxson's 45 RBI were second highest in the MINK league. Jaxon Passino, Mankato MoonDogs (Northwoods League)
Passino has appeared in 17 games (three starts) for the Mankato (Minnesota) MoonDogs of the Northwoods League. In 39 innings, Passino has struck out 30 with an ERA of 5.30. Passino threw a complete game in a 12-4 win over St. Cloud on August 5, striking out four with one earned run allowed on six hits. He has earned the win in his last outings after throwing six innings with one earned run allowed on four hits and six strikeouts in a start at Thunder Bay on July 31. Passino has 18 strikeouts in his last five appearances (22.2 IP). The MoonDogs finished the first half of the season with a record of 15-21 (fifth) in the Great Plains West division and are 21-15 (second) in the second half.
Terrence Spurlin, St. Joseph Mustangs (MINK League)

Boggess has produced two doubles, four home runs, 20 RBI and 21 runs scored. He ended the season on a three-game hitting streak, including a home run on July 29 against Westfield. He tallied base hits in eight of the last 10 games with six RBI and two homers. Pittsfield finished the regular season 28-27 and in fifth place in the FCBL standings.
Blake Burrows, Rockford Rivets (Northwoods League)
Playing for the Rockford (Illinois) Rivets, Burrows owns a slash line of .257/.400/.297 in 37 games. Burrows has turned in two doubles, a triple, 13 runs scored, 20 walks and 21 stolen bases. Willman hit safely in five of his final six games, going 2-for-3 with a triple and a run scored in a 5-3 win over the Lumberjacks on July 3. Willman had four extra-base hits in his last six games and his average was sixth highest in the PSCL. The Blue Sox finished 9-10 and in fifth in the PSCL standings.

Dale turned in three multi-hit games in his last six games, going 2-for-4 with a double and run scored in his last game against the Bristol Blues on July 26. Westfield finished the regular season 15-41 and in seventh in the FCBL standings.
Dominic Hughes, Pittsfield Suns (Futures Collegiate Baseball League of New England)
Playing the Pittsfield (Massachusetts) Suns of the FCBL, Hughes had a slash line of .189/.373/.303 in 38 games. Hughes tallied four doubles, two triples and two home runs with six RBI and 31 walks drawn. He recorded two multi-hit games over his final three contests with a triple, home run and two RBI. Hughes drew five walks on July 24 in a 13-12 victory over Westfield. Pittsfield finished the regular season 28-27 and in fifth place in the FCBL standings.
Connor McCullough, Harwich Mariners (Cape Cod Baseball League)
Named a 2019 CCBL All-Star, McCullough has made two relief appearances and six starts for the Harwich (Massachusetts) Mariners, including two starts during the Cape Cod playoffs. McCullough got the start in the Mariners' 1-0 playoff victory over Chatham, throwing six hitless innings with five strikeouts as part of a combined no-hitter on August 2. He earned the start in Game 2 of the championship series with Cotuit, going four innings with three earned runs allowed on five hits and seven strikeouts. Including the playoffs, McCullough had an earned run average of 1.51 with six earned runs allowed over 35 2/3 innings while totaling 41 strikeouts. McCullough tossed eight shutout innings with nine strikeouts and three hits allowed in a 2-0 win over Chatham on July 9, earning Cape Cod League Pitcher of the Week honors. Harwich finished the regular season 21-21-2 in the East Division of the Cape Cod standings and reached the championship series of the Cape Cop playoffs.
