MADISON, Wisc. - A slow moving cold front blanketed much of Wisconsin with heavy heavy rain and scattered thunderstorms Sunday, washing out the opening day of the East-West Match Play event for K-State women's golf.
The eight-team field will now play 36 holes on Monday starting at 9 a.m. (CT), with a single match played Tuesday based on seeding from stroke play. Eight individuals from each team will also play 36 holes on Monday to determine a separate seeding for individual matches on Tuesday.
