No. 14 Wildcats Fall at No. 22 Iowa State

AMES, Iowa (AP) - Heather Ezell was 8-for-8 from the free throw line in the last 35 seconds and finished with 19 points as No. 22 Iowa State upset No. 14 Kansas State 60-50 on Saturday in the Big 12 Conference.
Ezell was just 3-for-7 from the field, but she had a big 3-pointer late in the game and was 11-for-12 from the free throw line, helping the Cyclones (16-4, 4-2) hand Kansas State just its second loss. Their only other loss was a 64-48 setback at then No. 3 Oklahoma.
ISU made 29 of 36 free throws, enabling it overcome its 36 percent shooting from the field. The Wildcats, who last led 42-41 with 4:35 to play, shot 38 percent and went 10-for-16 from the line. Both teams came in average more than 65 points.
Ezell scored 12 points in the Wildcats' 19-8 run down the stretch. Nicky Wieben was the only other ISU player in double figures with 13 points.
Kansas State was led by Shalee Lehning with 15 points. Ashley Sweat added 14 points.
