No. 20 Wildcats Come Up Short at Nebraska

LINCOLN, Neb. -- Cory Montgomery had 21 points and eight rebounds to lead Nebraska to a 52-47 upset win over No. 20 Kansas State on Wednesday night.
Montgomery hit three 3-pointers for the Huskers (13-13, 4-9 Big 12), who beat a team ranked in the top 20 for the first time this season.
Ashley Sweat scored 13 points and Kelsey Nelson added 12 for Kansas State (21-8, 8-5), which shot just 33 percent from the field.
Kari Kincaid's free throws with 29 seconds left in the first half gave Kansas State a 22-21 lead. The Wildcats led for the last time 40-39 with 9:38 remaining.
Nebraska scored its last eight points from the free throw line.
