Wildcats Unveil 2020 Broadcast Schedule

MANHATTAN, Kan. – K-State's entire 16-match volleyball schedule will be broadcast across multiple platforms this season, including a pair of nationally televised matches on ESPNU, K-State Athletics and Big 12 Conference officials announced Tuesday.
The Wildcats, who will move to Bramlage Coliseum for the upcoming season, will host the Longhorns on Friday, October 16 at 4 p.m. for a national television audience. The Cats' contest at West Virginia on Thursday, October 1 will also be broadcast on ESPNU.
Thirteen matches will be shown on Big 12 Now on ESPN+, with all home matches being produced by the Emmy Award-winning K-StateHD.TV department.
The broadcast team of Brian Smoller and former Wildcat All-American Liz Wegner-Busch are back to call the action on Big 12 Now on ESPN+. Fans can catch Rob Voelker call every K-State volleyball match – home and away – on News Radio KMAN (93.3 FM, 1350 AM) and at K-StateSports.com/watch.
In 2019, the Big 12 Conference and ESPN agreed to significantly expand their existing rights agreement, which runs through 2024-25. Under the expanded agreement, multiple K-State athletic events -- including selected football, men's and women's basketball, volleyball, soccer and baseball games – are available on Big 12 Now on ESPN+, the direct-to-consumer subscription sports streaming service.
ESPN+ is available via the ESPN app, ESPN.com or espnplus.com for just $4.99 per month (or $49.99 per year) and can be cancelled at any time. Subscribers can watch on the ESPN app via most major mobile and connected-TV platforms, including iPhone, iPad, Apple TV, Android devices, Roku, Chromecast, Fire TV, PlayStation 4, XBOX One, Oculus Go and Samsung connected TVs.
K-State officially begins its 2020 campaign on September 25 against Iowa State. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Big 12 Conference revised its schedule to a doubleheader format. Teams will play against the same opponent on consecutive days in a single location, as opposed to the traditional home-and-home round robin format.
Tickets for the upcoming season will be sold on a single-match basis, as season tickets will not be available. All tickets will be general admission and will be available for purchase beginning at 8:30 a.m. the day prior to each home series at K-StateSports.com/tickets or at the ticket window on gameday.
Fans are encouraged to order digital tickets in advance to help avoid lines at tickets windows. Only debit and credit transactions will be accepted.
