Track and Field Announces 2021-22 Schedule

MANHATTAN, Kan. – Kansas State Track and Field head coach Cliff Rovelto announced on Monday afternoon (October 25) the 2021-22 track and field schedule.
 
The Wildcats will kick off the indoor season on Friday-Saturday, December 10-11 with consecutive home meets at Ahearn Field House, including the Carol Robinson Women's and Attila Zsivoczky Men's Winter Heptathlon on December 10 and the K-State Winter Invitational on December 11.
 
After a break during the holidays, K-State will return for the Wildcat Invitational on Saturday, January 8 at the Ahearn Field House. The Wildcats will then head to Lawrence, Kansas for the KU-KSU-WSU Triangular at Anschutz Sports Pavilion on Friday, January 14.
 
K-State will wrap up the month of January by hosting the Austra Skujyte Women's Pentathlon and the DeLoss Dodds Invitational and Steve Fritz Men's Heptathlon on Friday-Saturday, January 21-22 at Ahearn Field House before heading to Lubbock, Texas for the Texas Tech Open and Multis on Friday-Saturday, January 28-29.
 
Kicking off February, the track and field team will move to Lincoln, Nebraska on Friday-Saturday, February 4-5 for the Husker Invitational and then to Iowa State on Friday-Saturday, February 11-12 for the Iowa State Classic.
 
The Wildcats will return to Manhattan one last time to host the Steve Miller Invitational at Ahearn Field House on Friday-Saturday, February 18-19 before traveling to Ames, Iowa for the Big 12 Championships at the Lied Recreation Center from Friday-Saturday, February 25-26. The 2021-22 indoor season will conclude on Friday-Saturday, March 11-12 at the NCAA Championships in Birmingham, Alabama.
 
The start of the outdoor season marks a six-meet road trip for the Wildcats, competing in five different states, including stops in Miami, Florida for the Hurricane Invitational on Friday-Saturday, March 18-19, in Austin, Texas for the Texas Relays on Wednesday-Saturday, March 23-26, in Tucson, Arizona for the Jim Click Shootout on Thursday-Saturday, April 7-9 and in Norman, Oklahoma for the John Jacobs Invitational on Friday-Saturday, April 22-23.
 
After their long road trip, the Wildcats will return to Manhattan to host the Ward Haylett Invitational on Friday-Saturday, May 6-7 before leaving for the Big 12 Championships in Lubbock, Texas on Friday-Sunday, May 13-15.
 
Following the Big 12 Championships, K-State will round out its season at the NCAA West Preliminary on Friday-Sunday, May 26-28 in Fayetteville, Arkansas, with qualifying individuals advancing to the NCAA Outdoor Championships on Thursday-Sunday, June 8-11 in Eugene, Oregon.
