K-State Completes Preliminary Action at USAB 3X Nationals

SPRINGFIELD, Massachusetts - The four-member K-State women's basketball delegation of Emilee Ebert, Cymone Goodrich, Ayoka Lee and Rachel Ranke completed preliminary action on Saturday at the 2021 Red Bull USA Basketball 3X Nationals at the Naismith Hall of Fame. The Wildcats pocketed a record of 2-1 and secured second-place in Pool A.

The Wildcats opened the day with a 21-9 win over Midwest Money Makers. K-State was downed in their second game by Legacy, 22-12. K-State returned to the court 20 minutes later to defeat a squad from NC State, 21-17. Goodrich ended the game with a corner two-point field goal to prevent the NC State comeback.

K-State's quarterfinal game will tip-off on Sunday morning at 9:30 a.m. (CT). Sunday's action can be seen live on Twitch.tv/NBA.
