1. K-State Selected 6th by Big 12 Coaches
• The Wildcats were selected to finish sixth in the 2022-23 Big 12 Preseason Coaches Poll in October. The Wildcats have finished 18 of 24 seasons above its preseason prediction.
2. Mittie Set for Ninth Season
• K-State head coach Jeff Mittie enters his ninth season in Manhattan. He owns a 145-110 (.569) record and six postseason appearances with the Wildcats. With one win, Mittie will reach the 600-win mark in his 31 seasons as a head coach.
3. Sundell Named to Preseason All-Big 12
• Sophomore guard Serena Sundell has been named to the 2022-23 Preseason All-Big 12 Team by the league's coaches.
4. Gregory Moves North
• Senior Gabby Gregory has switched allegiances within the Big 12, as she has joined K-State following three seasons at Oklahoma. Gregory needs 215 points to reach 1,000 for her career.
5. International House of Hoops
• In addition to Rebekah Dallinger (Sydney, Australia), K-State brought in a pair players with international experience. Sarah Shematsi (Annecy, France) and Gisela Sanchez (Barcelona, Spain) join the Wildcats this season. Shematsi is K-State's first player from France, while Sanchez is K-State's second player from Spain.

at K-State 74, Fort Hays State 63 (Oct. 31, 2022; Manhattan, Kan.)
• K-State used a 64 percent effort from the field in the final quarter and outscored Fort Hays State, 27-17, in the fourth to secure the exhibition win.
• The Wildcats shot 38.7 percent (12-of-31) from beyond the arc.
• Gabby Gregory led all scorers with 22 points and paced the Wildcats with nine rebounds. Brylee Glenn added 15 points.

• Jeff Mittie, one of the winningest active coaches in NCAA Division I with just under 600 career wins, enters his ninth season at the helm of the K-State program in 2022-23.
• Mittie, the ninth head women's basketball coach in K-State history, owns an overall career record of 599-345 (.635) in 30 years as a head coach, including a 145-110 (.569) mark in his time at K-State. He has won 19 or more games in five of his eight seasons with K-State.
• His 599 career wins at NCAA programs ranks 16th amongst active NCAA Division I head coaches. With his first win in the 2022-23 season, Mittie will become the 16th active coach in NCAA Division I with 600 or more career wins.
• With his 145 wins at Kansas State, Mittie ranks third for wins at the helm of the K-State program.
• Mittie is the third-longest tenured head coach in K-State women's basketball history.
