Sunflower Showdown Start Time Adjusted

MANHATTAN, Kan. – K-State's Big 12 opener against Kansas on Saturday, September 24 has been moved to a 4 p.m. start at Bramlage Coliseum following the announcement of K-State's football game time at Oklahoma on the same day, K-State Athletics and Big 12 officials announced Wednesday.

Tickets start at just $5 when purchased in advance for the first installment of the 2022 Dillons Sunflower Showdown, which was originally slated for a 6:30 p.m. first serve. A $15 t-shirt package is also available which includes a ticket and an exclusive Wildcats lavender shirt. General-admission tickets are $8 at the northwest and northeast ticket windows on gameday.

The matchup with the Jayhawks will be broadcast on Big 12 Now on ESPN+ and the ESPN app. Fans can also listen to Rob Voelker call the Dillons Sunflower Showdown online at K-StateSports.com/watch and on the K-State Sports app.

The Wildcats conclude their non-conference slate this week, beginning with a Wednesday night tilt at Kansas City before heading to Houston for the Adidas Invitational hosted by Rice. While in Houston, the Cats will meet the Owls Friday before facing No. 17 Creighton Saturday.
