
K-State Announces 2022-23 Women’s Basketball Big 12 Schedule

MANHATTAN, Kansas – Kansas State women's basketball has finalized its schedule for the upcoming 2022-23 season, as the Big 12 Conference slate has been completed.
K-State will begin its 27th season of Big 12 action on Saturday, December 31, as the Wildcats visit defending Big 12 tournament champion Texas in the new Moody Center. This will be the first time since January 5, 2000, in which K-State will face Texas to open a league season.
In a unique schedule twist, K-State will also conclude its 2022-23 Big 12 schedule against the Longhorns on Saturday, March 4, in Bramlage Coliseum.
Following its opening game at Texas, Kansas State will play three of its next four games in Bramlage Coliseum, including a two-game home stand on Wednesday, January 4, at 6:30 p.m., against Oklahoma State, followed by a visit from West Virginia on Saturday, January 7, at 1 p.m.
After a midweek trip to Ames, Iowa, to face Iowa State on Wednesday, January 11, the Wildcats return home to host Texas Tech on Saturday, January 14.
After the home stand, K-State will play three of its next four games on the road. The Wildcats visit Baylor on Wednesday, January 18, host TCU on Saturday, January 21, at 6:30 p.m., and play two straight on the road with stops at Oklahoma State on Wednesday, January 25 and a trip to Lawrence, Kansas, to face the Jayhawks on Sunday, January 29, at 5 p.m., on ESPNU to complete the first half of its league slate.
To begin the second half of its Big 12 schedule, K-State will play four of its first six games in Bramlage Coliseum as the Wildcats welcome in Iowa State on Wednesday, February 1, on 6:30 p.m., followed by a trip to Texas Tech on Sunday, February 5, at 1 p.m., on ESPNU.
K-State will then host a two-game home stand, facing Oklahoma on Sunday, February 12, at 1 p.m., on ESPNU and Baylor on Wednesday, February 15, at 6:30 p.m. The Wildcats return to the road on Saturday, February 18, to visit TCU at 5 p.m., before capping the six-game stretch with a visit from Kansas on Wednesday, February 22, at 6:30 p.m.
The Wildcats will play their final two road league games with stops at West Virginia on Saturday, February 25, and a midweek stop at Oklahoma on Wednesday, March 1.
The 2023 Phillips 66 Big 12 Women's Basketball Championship will be contested at the Municipal Auditorium in Kansas City, Missouri, March 9-12, 2023. Ticket information will be available later this year.
General admission women's basketball season tickets start at just $30 for football and men's basketball season ticket holders, $50 for public, or only $120 for a 4-Pack. Wildcat 4-Packs are available for less than $2 per game.

The Wildcats enter the 2022-23 season two wins shy of 1,000 in its history. Head coach Jeff Mittie will begin the season one victory shy of 600 in his 31-year coaching career and five wins short of 150 during his nine seasons in Manhattan.
For the 2022-23 season, Kansas State will be led by the sophomore trio of Brylee Glenn, Jaelyn Glenn and Serena Sundell. The Wildcats also welcome in graduate transfer Sarah Shematsi, senior Gabby Gregory, redshirt sophomore Heavenly Greer, sophomore Gisela Sanchez and freshmen Mimi Gatewood, Ja'Mia Harris, Eliza Maupin and Mikayla Parks.
The 2022-23 promotional and television schedules will be released at a later date.
