
K-State Baseball Announces Batcat Bash Set for February 10

MANHATTAN, Kan. – K-State head baseball coach Pete Hughes and the K-State baseball team are set to host the Batcat Bash on Friday, February 10 inside the Shamrock Zone located on the south end of the Bill Snyder Family Stadium.
All Wildcat fans are invited to attend the tailgate style event, formally known as Baseball Night in Manhattan, which is scheduled to start at 6:30 p.m. Tickets are now on sale through the K-State Ticket Office and are available for $10 for adults and $5 for kids (12 and younger).
Those in attendance will have an opportunity to meet Coach Hughes and the entire K-State baseball team as they prepare for the upcoming 2023 season. The event will feature all the ballpark favorite tailgate foods, games and activities along with a live auction and online bidding. Online bidding will begin on January 25.
Tickets for the Bat Cat Bash can be purchased through the K-State Ticket office and online by visiting k-st.at/BatCatBash.
K-State will lead off the 2023 season in Nacogdoches, Texas with a four-game series against the Stephen F. Austin Lumberjacks on Feb. 17-20 at Jaycees Field. The Cats' home opener is scheduled for Friday, March 3 against Army.
The Wildcats return 19 student-athletes from last season's roster that went 29-29 and advanced to the Big 12 Championship semifinals for the second consecutive year. Returners include starters Kaelen Culpepper, Nick Goodwin, Cole Johnson, Orlando Salinas Jr., and Griffin Hassall.
