FROM THE COURTS
Head Coach Jordan Smith
On keeping the momentum after the win over Wichita State…
"Obviously it's good the start we had, especially to see how well we recovered from Friday. That was a really great and just phenomenal college match at Wichita State. We knew that South Dakota was gonna be a little more fresh, so we knew we had to come out strong again. So that was the biggest challenge like 'hey, can we have the momentum at home' and so that's really good for our girls because, you know, doubles has kind of been one of those Achilles heels for us and so to get two double points in a row, is you know, so important. And then the way we carried over to singles and we did a great showing from top to bottom so that was really awesome."

On the next two weekends on the road…
"Our next few weeks are tough. We got four quality opponents all on the road, two away matches, two neutral matches. And, you know, that's kind of gonna be a big part of our schedule, kind of defining moment for us going into Big 12 play. So I think we're really excited, especially Denver then Iowa, both good teams, both got us last year. So obviously, we're just trying to make sure we do a better job and trying to get a better footing coming out next weekend."
