K-State Unable to Overcome Poor Start in 86-69 loss at 25/24 Indiana

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – The high-flying Kansas State offense was forced into a season-high 19 turnovers leading to 27 Indiana points, as the No. 25/24 Hoosiers posted an 86-69 win over the Wildcats on Tuesday night before 12,342 fans at Simon Skjodt Assembly Hall.
K-State (5-2) struggled from the get-go, as Indiana (6-0) jumped out to a 20-4 lead after holding the visitor to a 1-of-11 start from the field and 7 turnovers. However, a 10-0 run enabled the Wildcats to close to within a possession on three different occasions before the Hoosiers finished off the half with a 13-3 run to go ahead by 12 points.
Junior P.J. Haggerty paced three players in double figures with 16 points.
