MANHATTAN, Kan.- The K-State women's tennis team lost another Big 12 ranked match up at Mike Goss Tennis Stadium on Friday (March 14), with a 4-1 decision to Oklahoma State.

K-State (6-6, 3-2 Big 12) fell short in doubles competition for the third straight match, but started fighting back into three sets against #36 Oklahoma State (10-6, 4-1 Big 12) in four of the six singles matches.

Sophomores Maralgoo Chogsomjav and Charlotte Keitel were up 6-5 in the no. 1 spot against the #69 ranked duo of Anastasiya Komar and Rose Marie Nijkamp before the match went unfinished.

Santos earned the lone singles win for the K-State, collecting her first ranked win as a Wildcat by sweeping #49 Epps in the no. 4 position, 6-2, 6-2.

Two Cats fell short to the other ranked Cowgirls in singles matches, both of them in tough three sets. Keitel fought back in the second set against #81 Komar, avoiding a tiebreaker at 7-5, but started to lose steam in the last set with a final of 2-6, 7-5, 4-6 in the no. 2 spot.
