MANHATTAN, Kansas – K-State junior center Ramiya White has suffered a lower body injury and will miss the entirety of the 2026-27 season, head coach Jeff Mittie has announced.
"Ramiya White was involved in a scooter accident on Sunday," stated Mittie. "She sustained injuries to her lower leg that required surgery. Unfortunately, she will miss the entire 2026-27 season. We are thankful that it wasn't worse and will support Ramiya in her recovery for next season."
White, a product of Louisville, Kentucky, established career season-highs in a majority of statistical categories in her first season with K-State in 2025-26. She tallied 47 points (1.7 ppg) on a .515 field goal percentage while hauling in 52 rebounds (1.9 rpg) in 28 games played.
K-State officially begins its 59th season of action with a four-game home stand beginning on Monday, November 2, as the Wildcats host Sunflower State rival, Wichita State at 6:30 p.m.
