
K-State’s Heal Named Finalist for College All-Star Game

MANHATTAN, Kansas – Kansas State women's basketball senior guard Tess Heal has been named as a finalist for the 2026 Lilly Women's College All-Star Game, which will be played on April 4 at Global Credit Union Arena on the campus of Grand Canyon University in Phoenix.
The game will be televised nationally on ESPN2 at 12 p.m.
Inclusion in this watch list recognizes the outstanding achievements of all student-athletes and underscores their status among the most impactful and distinguished performers in the country.
This is the third straight season a K-State women's basketball player has been named a finalist for the College All-Star Game, as Gabby Gregory earned the distinction in 2024 and Ayoka Lee and Serena Sundell garnered the honor in 2025. Gregory played in the game in 2024 in Cleveland.
Heal, a 2026 All-Big 12 Third Team selection, led the Wildcats in scoring in Big 12 games as she averaged 15.5 points per game while shooting 53.1 percent from the field, 40.9 percent from beyond the arc and 87.5 percent from the free throw line.
In league-only games, Heal ranks 13th in the Big 12 in scoring, fourth in field goal percentage and third in free throw percentage. She reached double figures in 13 of the 15 league games she played in.
Overall, Heal is third on the team in scoring with 10.8 points per game on a 47.2 percent effort from the floor, including 33.3 percent from beyond the arc, and is shooting a team-high 86.3 percent from the foul line. She ranks second in the Big 12 in free throw percentage. Her free throw percentage ranks second in K-State history for a career.
In her career, Heal has registered 1,809 points, 443 rebounds, 385 assists and 104 steals.
K-State (18-17) awaits its postseason destination, with the selection show for the 2026 WBIT on Sunday, March 15, at 8 p.m., on ESPN+.
