Former Wildcats to Play Overseas This Fall and Winter

MANHATTAN, Kansas - Four former K-State women's basketball players will be in action in overseas leagues during the 2026-27 season. Below is an update.
Gabby Gregory - Leonas de Ponce (BSNF, Puerto Rico)
Gregory will spend her second season in the Puerto Rican Baloncesto Superior Nacional Femenino, this season with the Leonas de Ponce. In her first game of 2026, Gregory tallied a team-high 24 points and four rebounds in a 76-71 win. Last season, Gregory played for Monarcas Juana Diaz and averaged 12.5 points, 5.4 rebounds and 2.9 assists.
Tess Heal - Southside Melbourne Flyers (WNBL, Australia)
In her first season playing overseas, Heal played for the Keilor Thunder in NBL1. She averaged 13.4 points on a 44.7 field goal percentage including 38.6 from beyond the arc and a free throw percentage of 81.8. She also averaged 5.4 rebounds, 4.1 assists and 1.1 steals. Following her season with Keilor, Heal signed to play with the Southside Melbourne Flyers in WNBL. Preseason action for the Flyers begins on Friday with regular season action tipping off on October 16.
Temira Poindexter - AEO Proteas Voulas (A1, Greece)
Poindexter is set to play her second season overseas and will play her second season in a Mediterranean country, as she will play for AEO Proeas Voulas in the A1 league in Greece. A season ago, Poindexter played for Dinamo Sassari in Serie A1 in Italy. With Dinamo Sassari, she averaged 11.9 points with 3.0 rebounds and 1.1 assists.
Peyton Williams - Hapoel (Israeli D1, Israel)
Since graduating from K-State in 2020, Williams has played in Russia, Belgium and China. This will be her first season playing with Hapoel in the Israeli D1. Last season with Wuhan Shengfan (China), Williams averaged 12.0 points on a .584 field goal percentage, 7.1 rebounds, 1.5 assists and 1.6 steals.

The Wildcats return seven letterwinners for the 2026-27 season, which accounted for 74 percent of the assists, 55 percent of the points and 52 percent of the rebounds.
