- A two-year letterman at Blue Valley Northwest High School in Overland Park, Kansas … Team posted a 48-2 combined record his junior and senior seasons, which included a pair of league and sub-state titles, the 2013 Class 6A state title and a runner-up finish at state in 2012.
- Served as team captain as a senior, helping the team to a perfect 25-0 record and the Class 6A state title over rival Blue Valley West (46-29).
- Earned honorable mention All-Eastern Kansas League honors as a senior.

- Mason Kenneth Schoen was born Sept. 30, 1994 in Overland Park, Kan. … Parents are Kelly and Kristi Schoen… Has an older sister, Chandler, and a younger brother, Dalton.
- Brother, Dalton, is a walk-on wide receiver on the K-State football team.
- Participated in the NCAA Career in Sports Forum, June 2-5, 2016, in Indianapolis.
- Earned his bachelor’s degree in finance in May 2017… Finished a second bachelor’s degree in marketing to complete his dual degree in May 2018 as well as took classes towards an MBA.
