Continue the Tradition!
K-State has averaged nearly 30,000 fans at each of its bowl games played in the Continental U.S.
The Wildcats had an estimated 40,000 fans travel to Dallas for the 1997 Cotton Bowl, while the largest crowd ever to cross state lines to watch a college football game (45,000) went with the Wildcats to Tempe, Ariz., for the Wildcats’ 1997 Fiesta Bowl victory over Syracuse. Wildcat fans were again out in force at the 2012-13 Fiesta Bowl as an estimated crowd of just under 40,000 K-State faithful traveled to Arizona.
The Wildcats have won the last two bowl games they have appeared in, defeating Texas A&M (33-28) in the 2016 Texas Bowl, and UCLA (35-17) in the 2017 Cactus Bowl.
