COVERING K-STATE
Working Credentials
K-State will issue media credentials on a season or individual game basis. Those wishing to request for credentials must do so through the K-State Athletics Communications football credential application website. Applying for credentials does not guarantee credentials will be approved. Additionally, being approved for credentials in previous seasons does not guarantee credentials will be approved in 2025-26.
Picking Up Credentials
Because of inconsistent mail delivery service on tight deadlines, media passes will not be mailed. Passes may be picked up at a location to be determined by the K-State Athletics Communications Office. Individuals picking up credentials will be required to furnish positive identification. All credentials are non-transferable and are issued based on Kansas State’s credential policy.
Credentials Restrictions
Admission to the press level is for working media only. Only those media with official K-State credentials will be admitted. Friends, spouses, children and non-workers are not welcome in the press area.
Photographers
Only a limited amount of accredited photographers/videographers on assignment from recognized media outlets will be issued sideline credentials. All photographers must obtain and wear a K-State Athletics vest (available in the press box on gamedays) and a media pass to shoot inside Bill Snyder Family Stadium. NCAA rules limit shooting to outside the restraining line enclosing the playing field and outside the 20-yard lines (the team areas). Children under 16 years old are not permitted on the sideline.
Photographers are asked to stay behind the white dotted line on the field with priority given to individuals operating cameras and parabolic microphones for the television network broadcasting the game.
The designated photographer work space is on the field level of Bill Snyder Family Stadium, just inside the northeast (visiting team) tunnel. Tables, chairs, power strips and wireless internet are provided and the area may be used on a first-come, first-served basis.
Media Parking
Press parking is limited and will be issued upon request on a first-come, first-served basis as available. Contact the Kansas State Athletics Communications Office regarding details and directions to press parking areas.
Road Credentials
Obtaining media credentials for K-State road games is the sole responsibility of each media outlet. Approval for credentials for K-State home games does not guarantee approval for road contests.

Live running statistics are also available on TVs throughout the press box and on the Internet at kstate.statbroadcast.com during the game. Final statistics, notes and quotes will be made available to the media following the game and are posted on the official K-State Athletics website shortly after the conclusion of each contest.
Postgame Policy
Kansas State’s locker room is closed. Media in the press box will be asked to submit a list of player requests to Ryan Lackey at the start of the fourth quarter. Coach Klieman and requested players will be available in the Steel & Pipe Team Theater on the third floor of the Vanier Family Football Complex following a brief cooling off period. Postgame news conferences for visiting teams will take place in the designated visiting team interview area, which is accessible through the visiting team tunnel in the northeast corner of the stadium.

The Kansas State Athletics Department produces broadcast-quality files of highlights for use in newscasts following all non-televised home games. Please contact the K-State Athletics Communications Office or K-StateHD.TV staff for access, instructions and information.
Internet Access
The Dev Nelson Press Level is equipped with high-speed wireless Internet. Please contact a member of the K-State Athletics Communications Office for access and usage instructions. Wireless internet credentials are for media only and are not to be distributed to the general public.
Media Meals
A pregame meal is served in the Dev Nelson Press Level two hours prior to each game. The meal is reserved for working members of the media with proper credentials. Milk and ice cream are also provided for all games courtesy of Hiland Dairy of Manhattan.
Credential Allocation
Credentials and working space for media members are issued at the sole and exclusive discretion of the Kansas State Athletics Communications Office based on the following priorities and guidelines.
- Originating radio and television personnel involved in a live broadcast.
- Daily newspapers and websites regularly covering Kansas State University, the current-game opponent or another Big 12 school. Wire services, regional and national publications are also afforded this priority.
- Officially recognized Kansas State University student publications or electronic media outlets.
- Non-originating radio and television personnel producing reports on the game. Local radio stations with a full-time sports director conducting a regular sports show will receive top consideration.
- Non-daily newspapers reporting on the game.
Other Credential Policies
- With the exception of media covering Kansas State daily, all passes are issued on a game-by-game basis with consideration of available working space.
- Passes are non-transferable and are subject to immediate revocation if transferred to non-working members of a media outlet.
- Kansas State University reserves the right to deny media credentials to any individual whose website is not recognized as a legitimate media organization.
- All persons picking up credentials will be required to furnish positive identification. All credentials are non-transferable.
- Spouses, dates, non-workers and anyone under 16 years of age are not permitted in the working press area.
- Restrictions have been made on the usage of internet video of K-State Athletic events. Highlights of game action and/or press conferences from K-State events are limited to and cannot exceed three (3) minutes in length per event.
- Each outlet requesting credentials will be permitted a MAXIMUM of TWO “on-field” passes which can be designated for still photography or video use. These two passes MUST be utilized in a working fashion and each user must check out a PHOTO VEST from the press level (which must be worn on the field at all times).
