The K-State Relays will provide high school athletes with an elite level, championship-caliber facilities where TEAM competition takes center stage. A full slate of relay-focused events will be contested and with team scoring being emphasized we will crown the inaugural K-State Relays Cup Champions.
To ensure every school has the opportunity to compete for the K-State Relays Cup, we are committed to accepting ALL relay entries! The following relays will be contested:
- 4x100m Relay
- 4x400m Relay
- 4x800m Relay
- Shuttle Hurdle Relay
- Sprint Medley Relay (200, 200, 400, 800)
- Distance Medley Relay (1200, 400, 800, 1600)
The top 8 finishers in all relay and field events will earn finalist medals, while champions will receive custom backpacks, batons, medals and a champions trophy!
Athletes truly come first at the K-State Relays where we have prepared championship-caliber facilities for all those competing! Team camps and general warm-up will be located inside Bramlage Coliseum, providing a weather-protected home base with seating for 12,000. Specific warm-up and the call room will be housed in the newly renovated Cliff Rovelto Indoor Track, featuring the world-class Mondo Super X 720 surface spanning from wall to wall. Athletes will have the opportunity to be spiked up and ensure they are fully prepared before stepping on the track. With the Cliff Rovelto Indoor Track being directly adjacent to the stadium, it is a seamless transition for the athletes from the call room to the track. Athletes will be escorted directly and seamlessly onto the purple oval ready to shatter personal bests and state records. Big time is where you are at, and the K-State Relays are committed to ensuring every athlete and team feels a part of that elite level environment.
Our Olympians training at K-State will be on site throughout the weekend supporting and encouraging competitors, and K-State’s own Tara Davis-Woodhall will be bringing the energy on the microphone.
Registration will be through Athletic.net; the entry site will open on Monday March 9th at 9am CST and will close Monday April 6th at 6pm CST. The entry link will be available on kstatesports.com beginning March 9th.
