2025 AT COASTAL CAROLINA UNIV.: Played in all 13 games, totaling 16 tackles, 4.5 tackles for loss and 2.0 sacks over 248 defensive snaps... Set a career high with five tackles against James Madison – all solo stops – including a 10-yard sack... Also had a sack against Georgia Southern... Carded two tackles apiece against Virginia, Old Dominion, ULM and Louisiana Tech, the latter being in the Independence Bowl... Current K-State defensive backs coach Jeremiah Johnson served as the defensive coordinator.
2024 AT COASTAL CAROLINA UNIV.: Played in three games as a true freshman, recording six tackles, 1.5 tackles for loss and a half sack, as he retained his redshirt... Posted three tackles apiece against William & Mary and UTSA, the latter being the Myrtle Beach Bowl... Had a full TFL against the Roadrunners when he played on a season-high 28 defensive snaps, while he posted a half sack in 26 snaps against William & Mary.
HIGH SCHOOL: Played at Clover under head coach Perry Woolbright... A two-time all-region honoree who was also named to the all-state team and was the 5A defensive player of the year... Helped lead the Blue Eagles to a regional championship... Also competed in wrestling.
PERSONAL: Jayden Bryant was born October 3, 2005... Son of Joseph and Tamieka Bryant... Has two siblings, Kyla and Aunah... Majoring in communications.
