CAREER: Saw time in 26 games at K-State over parts of three seasons after transferring in from Dodge City Community College.
2025: Played in all 12 games, serving as the long snapper for all punts... Successful on all 48 snaps... Recorded tackles on punt coverage against North Dakota and Texas Tech, while he recovered a fumble on a muffed punt at Arizona.
2024: Appeared in all 13 games as the team’s primarily long snapper for punts and field goals/extra points, seeing time on 114 total special teams plays… Recorded a tackle on punt coverage at Tulane.
2023: Snapped for an extra-point attempt against Houston.
2022: Redshirted.
COMMUNITY COLLEGE: Played the 2021 season at Dodge City under head coach Ricky Coon... Rated the No. 1 available transfer long snapper by Kohl’s Snapping... Totaled six tackles on the year, including two against Garden City and one apiece against Iowa Western, Independence and Hutchinson… Played at the same community college as current Wildcat safety Qua Moss.
HIGH SCHOOL: Played at Santa Fe under head coach Kyle White... An all-state linebacker in 2019 who was also the conference linebacker of the year and district defensive player of the year... Totaled 234 career tackles... A three-time state powerlifting champion.
PERSONAL: Mason Olguin (pronounced ole-GEEN) was born September 19, 2001, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma... Son of Ronnie and Emily Olguin... Has four siblings, Alex, Kaylee, Micah and Frankie... Majoring in business administration.
