Part of four state championship teams with the Jaguars as he earned honorable mention all-state honors as a junior from Sports in Kansas and the Wichita Eagle when he posted 37 tackles, including 9.5 tackles for loss and 6.0 sacks... Prepped at the same high school as current Wildcat safety Mikey Bergeron and offensive linemen Gus Hawkins and Sam Hecht... Also competed in powerlifting.
